Time to play one of my favorite games! Is it icky, melodramatic ridiculousness, or am I just too old for the really YA-ish YAs?
Who‘s to say, really.
Giving it a so-so for Kirby Heyborne and Kirby Heyborne only.

The #11thBookof2021 was Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay. This book struck a chord with me (pun intended) since the MC is a pianist and so am I. I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! #12Booksof2021.
This book affected me so much. It‘s about a young concert pianist who is attacked and the assailant crushes her hand. I play the piano, too, although I am not a concert pianist. I lost my hearing in my left ear and the possibility of not playing was real, but this girl could never play again. The book was so good and the narrators were excellent! #140 #BookSpinBingo #6, my #BS and gave me a Bingo! #BFC21 #DISABILITY #20in4 #RIF
This book made me feel like I was a kid again; staying up almost all night, to try and finish (but seriously I am old, so made it to 1:30) I could not put the book down. The Sea of Tranquility is a book about trauma and trust. Both of our main characters have faced more than any young adult should ever have to. I love Josh, Nastya, and Drew. Five Stars

#LitsyHumor post 4! 😆
Couple more shots from our little cabin retreat on our winter weekend away in Matakana. I finished this YA novel which was a nice change of pace. Very engrossing story of two broken young people drawn to each other and trying to get past their traumas. Lots of angst but well done. A couple of things were problematic IMO, but others were handled well so I‘m not quibbling. I think if you loved Colleen Hoover‘s Hopeless you‘ll love this.
I have so many favorite books, but if i was FORCED to pick, i‘d probably say this was my favorite(i read the physical book). So i was SOOOOO happy when i listened to the audible sample, and her voice was PERFECT. Highly recommend it enters your brain in some fashion-physical book, ereader, or audible!!
Oh I liked this.
I kept thinking about the young characters whenever I wasn't reading it.
Started this after it'd sat on my pile for ten months. Very readable :)
Well I said I was going to finish it and I did. A really good book. So glad I read it. Now, I can go to bed.
Starting my morning off on a good note. Good coffee, Game day mug (NNN CCC STATE! NC STATE!), and so far, good book.
On to the next #librarybook

We are all fuzzy warm here.
Today‘s Audible daily deal. Has anyone read this one?
Not a bad one day total. I‘m starting to doze so I‘m not sure how much more I‘ll do. Happy with this though, and really enjoying this book. #24in48
Here we go. I got up even before my cat so I could get a good start on #24in48
A quick read, but “meh” for me. I can see why/how people absolutely LOVE this book...I‘m just not one of them. 🤷🏻♀️ I found Nastya‘s fascination with names & their meanings among the more interesting elements. (My Book Club gets me to read things I would never read otherwise, and I appreciate that.) #CantAllBeWinners
This was recommended to me by my highschool classmate and read it last August 2013. Definitely unforgettable.
5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I haven't gotten better. I'm not even close to okay. The only thing I've done is to decide to get better. But I think that may be enough. Im trying to see the magic in everyday miracles now: the fact that my heart still beats, that I can lift my feet off of the earth to walk and that there is something in me worthy of love. I know that bad things still happen. And sometimes I still ask myself why I am alive; but now, when I ask, I have an answer.
I don't want to lose you.
But I'd rather lose you if it means you'll be happy.
I need to know that there is such a thing as okay, maybe even good, and it's out there
and we just haven't found it yet.
There's got to be a happier ending than this, here. There's got to be a better story.
Because we deserve one.
You deserve one.
Even if it doesn't end with you and me...🌷💕
Love, love, loved this 📖 ..... amazing and unique story ❤️😭❤️
Nastya irá acercándose a él. Pero cuanto más llega a conocerla, mayor es el enigma. Él comienza a preguntarse si alguna vez sabrá quién es ella en realidad, o incluso si quiere saberlo.⭐️⭐️⭐️
Huh, wasn't expecting a nugget of profound wisdom in this one... but here it is. 💜💚
The back story of the two main characters was interesting enough to keep me hooked until the end. However, there was a bit too much teenage angst along with far too many teens essentially raising themselves (a la One Tree Hill...which I ❤️ btw) for my literary liking.
Absolutely recommend! 5 ⭐️ this book blew me away. For those that loved Eleanor and Park, this book takes it to the next level. I could barely put It down. The characters were well written and the whole story was truly just so well done. Josh and Nastya have both had their fair share of bad things in life, but they have to find a way to live and be ok. To not be robbed by the hand they are dealt. It is an amazing heartfelt journey!
I can't get over how much I loved this book! So glad I finally got to this beautiful book that I'd been wanting to read for a while but had no idea how much I'd love it!!! 💕 I pretty much cried through the last 50 pages last night, but cried in a good way. And seriously, how clever is this book cover?!?
We're like mysteries to one another. Maybe if I can solve him and he can solve me, we can explain each other. Maybe that's what I need. Someone to explain me.
Two of my favorite romances that I don't hear about from other readers often enough. #inthemoodforlove #seasonsreadings2016
SO LOVELY. This book started off a little slow for me, but that was fine because I love slow-burn relationships and I think that was really the only way to tell the story that really serves these characters the right way. They were heartbreaking and real and the reveal was done really well, and the ending gave me goosebumps. 9/10 ⭐️
This book is beautiful and wonderful and such a needed escape this week and I don't want it to end!
I didn't mean to start this but I needed something to read on my Kindle. Then once I started I couldn't stop. The story was heartbreaking and beautiful, told in first person by two narrators that tore me apart as they revealed their secrets and put their lives back together.
OMG finally someone else who knows the best way to eat ice cream!!! 😂 I thought I was the only one who did this. Another reason to ❤️ this book
New book!!!
Oh my heart. It broke into a thousand pieces and was put back together again. This book, it's everything a "YA" book should be. It is filled with broken characters that are real, & we are brought into their realness. They're not easily or readily fixed. They're troubled but they're not. And truly, these characters are not ones to be stuck in a "YA" genre, their reach is far greater and with breadth. {I finished this book on August 30, 2016.}
I re-read this one because I just couldn't decide what to read next so I just went with an old favorite.
