Read for #Scarathlon2020 and #BookSpin #TeamHarkness

This book is definitely more for serious fantasy fans, because I was mostly lost in these stories as they are all connected to series. Some were good despite that, but most were just confusing. A few authors added to my TBR list though!

Instead of reviewing them individually like I've been doing, the above covers the rest of the 13 stories. 13x15= 195+1. 196 pts @StayCurious

Currently reading this collection of stories from my TBR pile for #Scarathlon2020 and the #Screamathon challenges. #TeamHarkness @StayCurious

Review of Sixty-Six Seconds by Craig Schaefer: So these stories are all connected with the author‘s series, and I‘m at a huge disadvantage here because I‘ve only read a few of these before, and none of Schaefer. Don‘t really know what was going on, but it was bloody!

StayCurious I hate when you feel like you're missing something in a book. 4y

Review of Nigsu Ga Tesgu by Jeff Somers: This so far has been my favorite story of the series (I'm several reviews behind), about a witch and her apprentice. He's slowly killing her, but she has plans to survive. Dark and creepy and villainess!

Review of Hounded by Kelley Armstrong: A Huntsman part of the Welsh Fae (I think? I haven't read this series at all) is in search of a new hound, and not just any hound will do. This leads him to a terrible date, but there's method to his madness. Enjoyed this one!

Review of Even Hand by Jim Butcher: I am in the minority in that I am not a fan of the Dresden Files. I DNFed the first book 2x before finally pushing through for book club, but I liked this short story... probably bc it's not told from Dresden's POV, but rather his archnemesis Marcone. 3⭐

MidnightBookGirl Review con't: Some woman who works for vampires, Justine, shows up with a child she's rescued from Mag, who is some kind of water fae lord dude? Marcone is dubious, but he has rules about kids, so he takes on Mag to protect the kid. 16pts (edited) 4y

Pickpick

#NetGalley #Arc Thi book was definetely a pick! I loved it, I loved the idea, I loved the villains and now I feel the need to go on with all the series that were mentioned in it and that I have started but never finished (too much series and not enough time!) and to start some new ones, too.
