With the snow and ice we got Friday, I was stuck in the house with nothing to do yesterday but read. Awww.... poor me. 😂 I clocked in 11.5 hours even with an afternoon nap. I finished Pucking Wild and started The Game Plan. Still working on several others also.

Yesterday, I finished my first book of 2025, Royal Mate by Grace Goodwin.
I read for 4.25 hours making my YTD total 10.0.

Last year I read 42 books that were part of a series and discontinued a handful where my interest had waned with the passage of time. I also started three new-to-me series because I couldn‘t help myself.

I‘m going to start #serieslove2025 with a smaller focus and not try to read everything everywhere all at once. I‘ve already started reading a few of these, so then I can fill in some others!

In December I read 30 books and a total of 9,711 pages. Over half of the books were holiday themed.

in 2025 I plan to track other stats such as genre, format, etc.

I joined in the year-long #ReadAway2024 last year but fell by the wayside when work got unusually busy. Hopefully I can stick with this one for the whole year. I want to read 60 books/18,000 pages/360 hours.

Well I accidentally deleted my lap counter but I had just glanced at it before.😄 I basically got about 10 hours in over this #Readathon . Finished a book before years end , made progress on others , so it‘s all good 👍 thanks for hosting @Andrew65

Here we are in a new year and starting a new year long reading challenge. As I did last year, I plan on posting daily updates to keep me motivated. I plan on reading at least 150 books; therefore, I need that motivation.

I finished one more yesterday to bring my grand total for 2024 to 303 books.
Grand total reading time for 2024 is 2,552.25.

Here is my completed December #BookSpinBingo board. I did manage 5 bingos during the month. Not too bad. I read enough books to have a black outed board... just not the right ones. 😕

I finished So This Is War which makes my YTD total books read 302. I might finish one more book today.

Yesterday I finished Lick and The Christmas Book Hunt yesterday and read for 10.5 hours. My YTD total hours is 2,538.5 and my YTD books read 301/300.

Wahoo!! I meet my goal of 300 books and 2,500.0 hours! I feel like I am ready to get on with 2025.

I finished Stars Uncharted yesterday and read for 7 hours and my YTD total is 2,528.

I still have a couple more books to finish this year and just three days to do it in.

I‘m more out with the old for this #readathon I‘d like to finish my #Roll100 books for Dec, as well as books in progress & #SeriesLove new library e-book holds that just came in. For the new, I have a #OUABC #UpAllNight box with the Haig book that I‘ll read NYE & Day & my tree-a-day book for #Naturalitsy

Ambitious, but I just have one workday on Monday, I‘m still laying low🤧& several are in progress.

My goals for the #OutWithTheOldInWithTheNew Readathon are:

1. Begin my three 2025 Year-long daily reads.

2. Finish at least two of the four books I‘m supposed to finish by the end of December. 😂

3. Begin reading the January books for #HashtagBrigade and #SundayBuddyRead .

I still have a little hangover from the last book I read, and I have company coming in for a couple days … BUT I also have four books checked out from four libraries plus one from Libby … SO my goal for the #OutWithTheOldInWithTheNew #readathon is to finish ONE more book by the end of the year. Anything more is, as they say, gravy.

Between the holidays and some health struggles with our senior pup, my reading has not gone the way I‘d hoped this month. I have a tonne of half-finished books and a stack of library books languishing. So my goal is just to read! Ideally, I‘ll get two of my three library books read and finish up a couple of my in-progress reads. And as always, I want to read something I‘m super excited about on New Year‘s Day.

Reposting for @Andrew65 Tomorrow starts the #20in4 readathon and I plan to take advantage of the rainy weekend the weatherman is forecasting and finish the year out strong. I am pushing to get three more books read before January 1st so I can reach my goal of 300 for 2024. My plans are to finish the books I have started. Currently working on four books. If I finish those, I will start the new year fresh and reach my goal.

As we approach the end of the year it‘s time for the Year End #20in4 Readathon, although in this case it covers 5 days as it takes in New Year‘s Day. A great way to round off one year‘s reading and have a great start to 2025‘s reading.
