I have been thinking for a week about this. Everything about me is “normal” to me so I‘m not sure what may be unique. But one thing that makes me me is that I cry very easily, and it often happens at times I don‘t necessarily want to (like at work). #uniquelyyou

My name makes me unique. It has become more popular lately, but growing up in the 70's, I was definitely the only Harper. My mom named me after Harper Lee because she loved To Kill a Mockingbird. I think it's very fitting that I'm an English Teacher. 📚

#uniquelyyou I was always terrified by scary movies as a kid, even the bad ones. One time when I was around 8 I happen to accidentally watch Hellraiser. I didn‘t catch all of it but I did catch a pretty gruesome part. It never seemed to bother me. No nightmares, no screaming from the room. I don‘t know what that says about me as a kid or now 😂 I have never actually watched any of the movies since then.

I think the obvious external thing that makes me unique is my bright red curly hair, shared by no one else in my immediate family. One not-so-obvious thing is although I have an extrovert‘s job (elementary school teacher), I am an introvert at heart...need down time daily to feel at my best! Downtime obviously includes reading!! 😊

A unique thing about me is that I was once an extra in the movie “The Crazies” when it filmed in a neighboring community to my tiny Iowa town! But I‘ve never watched it because I have zero tolerance for scary movies 😂.
