An excellent installment in the Harry Hole series, in which Harry hunts a serial killer with vampiric tendencies. The audiobook was superbly narrated by John Lee.
First book finished for the #AwesomeApril readathon! @Andrew65

Are you all sick of me raving about this series yet 😂 Another incredible installment in the Harry Hole series. Part of why I love these books so much is that Nesbø does such a good job of throwing you off track so the end isn't obvious He throws suspicion onto multiple characters in subtle ways. It keeps the books suspenseful and exciting. There is one book left in this series (as of now) and I think I have to read it now! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Only started this book today and I can‘t put it down.
Woohoo! I am fully caught up on this series. Which is an extremely rare event. 😃😃
I am definitely ready for a break from crime novels. It was a bad idea to finish this right before going to sleep last night. 😱

✅ 11/11 books read in Harry Hole series
I‘m so happy to have some extra reading time today! Hoping to make a serious dent in this book. Loading up on a healthy breakfast to recover from some unhealthy weekend eating: Engine 2 Power Up Oatmeal with a ton of fruit thrown on top! 🥭 🍓

Dessert! 🍨 📚 #litsypartyofone
Screw chores (I did do one load of laundry), it‘s sunny and warm enough for bare feet and reading in the chaise lounge and hammock! I am going to enjoy this while it lasts!
Over the past month, after rereading the entire ACOTAR series, I needed to trade fantasy for reality. So I chose my dear (and bloody) Jo Nesbø.

I love this series so much and I really hope we get another. There were a couple of small things I had problems with but nothing to keep me from reading the series again, which I have every intention of doing. Harry Hole is my favorite asshole.
Read this on holiday in Norway and stayed where the book is set 🙈 loved this book, the first Jo Nesbo book I have read and really liked it 🙌🏼 at times I felt like the story was dragged out but the ending was the best part of the book as it was so unexpected.
One of my favourite crime series and this didn‘t disappoint. Quite gruesome but enjoyable.
"You have a responsibility that stretches beyond those closest to you. You have to be there for people who aren't so close. And I have no right to demand that you let them all down. The fact that murder cases are like a drug to you doesn't change that."

Latest Harry Hole cos I'm working on him this month
Next month's book club pick
And a spooky book cos it's almost October & I barely have any this year 👀
I love Jo Nesbo! Another awesome story!!!!!
Another Harry Hole!! Thought we had seen the last of him but nope 😃 So excited💥
The latest in Jo Nesbo's Harry Hole series. Nesbo is my favorite crime fiction writer. I wanna know him. I wanna know Harry. The writing is so good I feel like I could actually meet Harry. So much good stuff here. I can't get enough!!
Definitely a pick! I've read the entire series and I think this might be my favorite.
Dad bought it and I borrowed it.My first Jo Nesbo!!
Pretty fabulous way to spend a Saturday evening. Enjoying this new Harry Hole thriller!
This is an excellent series with character and time progression. Hole is a man obsessed both with alcohol and murder. He's finally kicked both booze, is now teaching at the police academy and is happily married. But the one murderer who got away draws him back. These are complex in both plot and character development. I really should have reread the last book or found a wiki page with an in depth summary.
Excellent addition to the series. Nesbo writes dark crime novels like no one else and this one held the tension at a fever pitch from the first chapter to the last.
Absolutely love the Harry Hole series. It's dark and gripping. Just started the latest and I'm already hooked...
Yay! Harry's back!! I'm so happy😀😀😀 I've missed him so😚😚😚
Love this book, series, author and Harry Hole! And met the author and had my copy signed! YAY! Even gave him one of my Nordic Noir candles which he thought was cool 😎
I've devoured the Harry Hole series. On Audiobooks its kept me entertained through thousands of miles of driving. I worried though that either Jo Nesbo would call time on Harry or fail to maintain the standards we've come to expect.
Delighted to say The Thirst brings Harry back and he's almost happy, would you believe? There's no sign of Jo Nesbo getting stale either. So much to like and to shudder at; it's hardly a spoiler to say so much death!
I went to see Jo Nesbo tonight! He drew a huge crowd, so we were many rows away from him even though I got there pretty early to secure seats.
He definitely appeals to the older demographic, too. I was one of the youngest people there by a fair margin, and one of very few people who hadn't read him yet. (My dad's a big fan, so I went to keep him company.) I'd like to remedy that, though, because he's an interesting fellow indeed.
I know sometimes I act like I'm twelve years old but come on...Harry Hole??!!
On the road again. ☹️ But on the bright side, at least I have my old friend, Harry, to keep me company on this trip!
Nesbo is back to his greatest with this one. Harry Hole is as enigmatic as ever; and the crime is complex and gory. What more could you ask for?
Intertextuality. Harry Hole on Murakami- two of my loves collide 🖤🖤
So excited for the new Nesbo- the last read for my holidays 😩
I feel a very lucky girl right now. I am holding an ARC of Australian edition of the Thirst in my hands!!!!

😱😱😱😱😨
What a thriller - and a long one. Just when the mystery appeared to be solved, a new twist would appear and the story continued. I liked the new characters that Nesbo introduced in this book - especially Anders and Mona - hopefully they'll appear in the next book.
Are there any Harry Hole fans in here? The 11th book came out yesterday and guess what was in my mail today? You probably guessed it 😀 Since I've only read the first four books, it might take a while for me to get to this
