In honor of Mother‘s Day, I thought I‘d share about one of my mom‘s favorite series. (Yep, she was young when I was born! 😬)

The Williamsburg novels by Elswyth Thane are a sweeping historical saga, which follows one family all the way from the Revolutionary War through World War Two.

This is how I am spending this very rainy Mother‘s Day. Seven years ago, I lost my mother to breast cancer and Mother‘s Day became a difficult day for me. In the last two years, that changed and I have been able to really enjoy all my hubby & kids do to make it special for me. That means a clean, quiet house (no sibling bickering 😉), time for me to read, and hubby making whatever I want for dinner. ❤️📚 Happy Mother‘s Day, Mama Littens!

Had a wonderful Mothers Day so far. Had a big sleep in then was packing for our houseboat holiday until @Ciara_Rosey & my boy & his fiancée came over with presents! A gorgeous Mum pandora charm, two candles (magnolia&lavender & berry) a cake mug with spoon (yummy!) and these awesome thermal sheepskin lined socks to keep my footsies warm on the boat. Plus a WordCloud Classic copy of Wizard Of Oz but I already had a copy so they're exchanging it?
