😂👏🏻 Have to remember this... #LitsyHumor
Book 2 of the series. I love this series and I cannot wait to read the fourth one! If you enjoy historical romance or christian romance this would be a good author to try. Plus the characters read Jane Austen. 😁
Took the dog for a walk this morning. Thought the little shelter looked quite picturesque this morning. Now I'm back and ready to read. #dogsitting #spring
I spent the weekend blissfully disconnected from the news. I had to stop by the bookstore on my way home (intending to buy books like 1984 and A Handmaids Tale but they were out) so I bought these to help deal with the stress of what is happening in this country right now.
I don't normally buy HC but I've been watching Victoria on PBS and couldn't resist.
Kristi Ann Hunter has done it again! This book almost beats her first book, but A Noble Masquerade still holds my heart. This story picks up about halfway through the first book, but we see everything from the perspective of secondary-turned-primary characters - Georgina Hawthorne and Colin McCrae. Their encounters were humorous, and you really do fall in love with Colin right along with Georgina. *Read more on my blog - www.ladywithaquill.com*
Let me start by saying that this is my favorite book I have read this year. After reading about Georgina in Miranda‘s story, A Noble Masquerade, the stage was set. I love how the books run parallel to each other.
Depth is another thing that is not lacking. There are layers to the characters. Yes, it‘s light and fun reading, but there are real life things here and they are all beautifully written. You won‘t be able to put this one down.
