pickHooray...finished my #thebreakfastbookclub #GroupA pick! It was honestly between a so-so and pick for me, but decided to lean towards a pick for the fearless main female character and a mystery element. Plus, it‘s set in 1920s Chicago! It seemed a little meatier than other YA novels I‘ve read, so much so that I double checked a few times that I did in fact select a YA book for the group.

pickPiper Sail is the next great female sleuth! 🔍 I loved following her through the streets of 1920s Chicago as she tried to solve the mystery behind her best friend's disappearance. And I admired her headstrong attitude and thirst for answers. I certainly hope we haven't seen the last of Piper Sail because I want more.
