β€’The premise of this story is rather compelling and it pulled me in immediately. Where the story goes from there was even rather interesting…but the ending left me underwhelmed. Overall though, I would still say it was a worthwhile book.
β€’Johanna Parker‘s narration was decent at times and atrocious at others…her whiny, pitchy, crying was super annoying.

I really liked this book. It had a good premise: a plane going to Seattle crashed and Will was supposedly on it. However, he had told his wife that he was flying to Orlando to speak at a conference. So now Iris is not only mourning him but on a quest to find out why he lied to her about where he was going. At every turn Iris finds out there were more lies Will told her. There are many twists and a predictable ending but it was still a good book.

This book sucked me after the first few chapters. Iris and Will have been blissfully married for 7 years but suddenly Will dies in an airplane crash and Iris realizes Will is not the man she thought he was. This was a fast paced thriller for me that had a good twist in the end. Definitely recommend!

Domestic psychological thriller that was suspenseful, but although evolving quite quickly, it still was slow-paced and a bit flat (too much repetition and cliches). Somehow, mostly all characters were ridiculous and annoying.

Loved it. Read it in one night. Instantly hooked. Nice little twist in there as well.

The marriage lie is about a woman dealing with the lost of her husband. He was not suppose to he on that plane but why was he? This book had lots of twist and turns really enjoyed it.

I got through this one fast. I enjoyed it though parts of the main character made me want to scream.

I enjoyed the other novel by her that I read so I‘m sure I‘ll enjoy this one. Probably a fast read.

I just couldn't finish this book. I got to chapter 15 then pretty well threw it across the room. The main character who lost her husband just kept whining about the same thing over and over again., like the author couldn't fill in the blanks, or was trying to make it longer.
To be honest I hated it.

I love this book it keeps you guessing till the end

A quiet house when everyone is in bed is the time for reading. I like to sleep but more than that, I like the quiet, and the uninterrupted reading (maybe interrupted by cats but that doesn‘t count). Anyone else like to stay up too late just so they can enjoy the solitude?

I didn't care for it. I wanted to like it, but I don't.

Iris kinda got on my nerves the entire time until the last two minutes. It was an okay read. I loved her family and I really liked Evan.

The book was okay. To be honest throughout most of the first half I was bored. There were a lot of plot twists and for that it kept me going. The characters were well fleshed-out but the story just didn‘t feel original.

Iris‘ husband, Will, is on a plane that crashes into a field killing everyone. Will was supposed to be a passenger on a different plane. As Iris tries to absorb the news, she begins investigating Will‘s lies. I really enjoyed how the story weaved through the lies and I waited in suspense for Iris‘ response. The ending was a big shocker for me.

Great read. Lots of suspense. I couldn‘t put it down. And I really liked the ending.

Taking a break from helping hubby get ready for his trip to NY. I might be a little jealous that he gets to travel while I‘m stuck home with the kids. The teenagers are wearing me out! Books and tea help.

This was a thriller and a half. Even if I suspected certain characters, I couldn't narrow down their involvement. There was even an audible gasp made.

I felt this book was a little too predictable, I didn't believe the plot coincidences, and the main character lacked the type of depth I was looking for. I like stronger female leads.

I needed a quick easy read while I was traveling. I didn't love it. It could've ended about 3 chapters earlier, I found myself skimming pages just to get done. I'd give it 3 stars...

I️ couldn‘t wait to finish this book because I️ really just didn‘t like it. But the ending did make me tear up a bit, so there‘s that.
