And some great commentary on online friends who become family.
Such serious topics in a great comic!
Still enjoying this series, a nice break from real life at the moment.
Plus as always such great and serious topics dealt with in a responsible and smart way.
One of my favorite issues to date! Kamala faces the coolest enemy -though I can't say what it is without spoiling the plot. This series is always uplifting for me, renews my faith in humanity. And we finally get a Bruno update in this one, too! Plus, it's nice to get positive gamer rep, even if it's in a superhero comic
This was a really great volume with new problems that Ms. Marvel has to face.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great volume!! On to volume 8 and volume 9 is waiting for me at the library. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In this volume Ms. Marvel tackles current issues: voting, internet trolling and shaming, and generally being nice and supportive of each other instead of bullying. While I applaud Wilson for tackling these topics, I found the stories haphazard, and way too obvious and preachy, especially the first one, which read like a get-out-the-vote pamphlet. I also missed Bruno, but was glad he returned in the last issue. ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Oh Ms Marvel, how I love you.
Not gonna lie... this scene made me tear up a little. #bekind #allthefeels
Reading Ms Marvel and making spaghetti sauce because I‘m hella on brand.
Imagine what would happen if compassion were normal. Imagine how many people would still be here. Imagine that.
The first issue in this volume was cute. The one in issues 14-17 was gripping enough, but not the best of the series. And I can‘t remember what issue 18 was. I love seeing Kamala grow and she‘s one of the best superheroes around! Wish this would be adapted!
Yes! Nakia! Mike! Zoe! Bruno's side story! I love it all! All of the focus on the people in Kamala's life made this feel very Scoobies to me and I am so here for that.
And that's it until I can get my hands on the next volume. Sorry for spamming, but if my gushing convinced you to maybe try reading this then #noregrets.
I really enjoyed the seventh volume of Ms. Marvel. I like Kamala more every issue.
Not as strong as other volumes, but good! The first two storylines in particular were very topical & I really enjoyed seeing Bruno in Wakanda*. The tough part about these for me is that I‘m not super aware of broader Marvel context. But I do enjoy them!

*Speaking of Wakanda: does anyone have any suggestions where to start reading with Black Panther? I‘d love to get to some of those before the MCU film comes out.
Some smart person said we all have three lives: a public life, a private life, and a secret life. Which sounds nice, except.... we live in a world without secrets. So who are we now?

Midday reading. I‘m home trying to head off this cold before it becomes another monster and need a break from walls of words. #graphicnovel #currentlyreading #goawayimreading
I had my best month this November reading wise and read 16 books. All, but two were graphic novels. The only one not pictured is Pashmina. Now I can begin my full on Christmas reading.

Between the humor and action, this volume conveys a strong message of hope, both for humanity and for democracy. You can tell the first issue of vol 7 came out before the American election last year. I didn't expect to be affected as much as I was, but maybe I just needed a bit more hope in my life. More hope, more Ms. Marvel, and now more Black Panther. ❤
Indulging in a little light reading this morning. #booksandbreakfast
It's a rainy day, I have nowhere that I need to be until 3pm, so I am indulging and going back to bed with a cat and a few short reads.
And if I fall back asleep, well, it won't be the worst thing in the world. 😂😂 #CatsofLitsy #HelloKitty #mondays #rainyday
This weekend's reads. One of these books was overdue. Can you guess which?

Parts of this volume were great, but ending with a World of Wakanda issue not featuring Ms. Marvel was a real disappointment for me. I just want Ms. Marvel.
Now for something a little lighter to keep me company while I watch tennis.
I hereby request that random dialogue from "The Princess Bride" be inserted into more books, as well as life in general.
I don't know how G. Willow Wilson does it, but she continues to write some of the most moving stories. And I swear I get teary-eyed every time. Hands down G. Willow Wilson's Ms. Marvel run is one of the best super hero stories ever written, period. Ms. Marvel represents what a hero really is and I'm so happy kids today have a hero like her to look up to!
Ms. Marvel, continuing to be an A++ comic and spread important messages ❤❤
The first story is basically just a voting pamphlet, which felt really cheesy, but I guess if it gets that message across to people. The rest felt a little TOO preachy about bullying and such, but it was alright. Like that they brought in her online guild haha The part I like best was at the end with Bruno in Wakanda. He's my fave 💚
They should visit Litsy, the nicest place on the internet 😁
