Not my favorite of theirs but kept my interest while processing photos and running errands. A little too predictable and clever but funny and well paced.

I don't care enough to check which was published first but this was another corporate setting open door romance much like The Roommate (Danan). In each the tropes shift and together they take down power hungry people wronging others. Not bad just predictable once the plot is visible. I did enjoy the banter and office wars though and genuinely laughted out loud at some of the shenanigans.
I have a mixed relationship with this author. Giving them another go with this book. Have you read it? What are your thoughts?
There were a few stressful chapters, but the 2 protagonists were VERY likable and had great chemistry with each other. Also, I enjoyed the overt feminist message included in the story.
TOP NOTCH!!! I love Christina Lauren and this one knocked it out of the park. A fast-paced talent agency, loads of sexual tension, adorable side character friendships, and crazy hijinks? What more could you want out of a romance?? ❤️💋🔥🔥🔥
Continuing my Christina Lauren bender and I'm not disappointed.
#BookReport - Well, apparently I did finish 7 books this week, despite feeling like I didn't read that much!! Mostly children's books, so not too long. Currently reading the tagged book as well as the indicated in the picture, but I just started Dating You/Hating You AND Amber & Dusk this morning. Almost done with Five Children & It, which is just as funny as I remember.
@Cinfhen
Do I have several assignments I should be working on? Yes. Do I have a million other books I should be reading? Yes. Am I hiding from the world in a cute romance novel? Also yes.
And this is how authenticity is lost.
2.5-3 stars. While not the reason for the mediocre review, and admittedly a small detail, no NYer ever says “in” Long Island; it would be akin to saying “on Chicago.” It‘s just not done—it‘s always ON Long Island. Sigh. 🤷🏻♀️
Devoured both my lunch & this book.

I love Christina Lauren‘s books. When I was looking for a book for the #booked2020 set in Hollywood prompt, I knew that I needed to read this one. Evie and Carter are both Hollywood agents. When they meet at a party they hit if off. But soon they find themselves working at the same office. They don‘t really know how to balance their relationship with them working together. I loved this book and had some laugh out loud moments.
After showing up to a Halloween party dressed up as Hermione it quickly becomes apparent that Evie is the only single person there. Until Carter shows up dressed as Harry Potter. Their costumes aren't the only thing they have in common and it isn't long before they give in to their chemistry and begin dating. Things are going almost too well until the day their companies merge and they're pitted against each other for a position, winner takes all.
Focuses too much on the Hollywood agents industry and awful office treatment. Lovers to enemies to lovers. Eh.
#AyUpAugust Rom/Com book edition 💕#IsThisLove Haven‘t read the book but I‘m pretty sure I know how it‘s going to end 🙄still looks light & fun!
My current audiobook 👨🦱👩🦰 ♥️ 🙅♀️🙅♂️ #mbcreadathon #mbcfrogsread6
Starting this one to end to this long holiday weekend
Somewhere between a pick and a so-so. I do enjoy when the narrative switches between the two characters in a romance novel so that was a plus. It was fun but not a lot of depth.
Next up on #labsoundtrack - definitely needed a lighter read after all these heavy books.
Cute and easy read. Middle-ground for these books - enjoyed the setting of talent agencies in LA, but there were some plot points that were a little far fetched.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was cute! And just the fluff I needed this week!
Not had a good day. Early this morning my dog Koda was hit by a car and sadly didn‘t make it. 😓 Trying to read to distract myself and Christina Lauren seems to do a decent job.
Grateful for the time we had, we rescued him from an abusive home and he was a trouble maker but I love him and going to miss him! ❤️ positive thoughts and vibes appreciated ❣️(Still too fresh to browse and post pics)
I liked the chemistry, I just found the pranks so childish and unprofessional and had trouble getting past that!
I hadn‘t placed a Book Outlet order in quite awhile but then today this happened 😂
I‘ve enjoyed Lauren‘s work previously and Dating You/Hating You doesn‘t disappoint. I really enjoyed how adult and solid the relationship between Evie and Carter becomes over the course of the two of them working together. It‘s an adult relationship, with a bit of fun and games thrown in.
Light and fun. Some of the pranks they played on each other in the “hating you” phase made me lol. #jesshowreads2018
This audiobook was a ton of fun. I was a bit skeptical when I read the synopsis because it literally sounds like the plot (and title) was stolen from The Hating Game, which I adored. However, these books can live simultaneously, and if you liked one, you‘ll like the other. Great fluffy romances with a hint of women empowerment.
Next up from the tbr shelf is this - it‘s actually a signed copy too since I met the authors at Sarah MacLean‘s London meet up earlier this year!
A break from murder
This was delightful! I'm still new to romance and figuring out what I like but I definitely liked this! The characters and the workplace story were great and I liked the 'lovers to enemies to lovers' better than enemies to lovers (if that makes sense).
Trying romance again. I'm hoping to find something I like. This one is very highly recommended by my bookish friends!

I‘ve seen this one suggested several times and it did not disappoint. I almost returned it to the library without reading it but I‘m so glad that I didn‘t. Perfect lazy Friday night read.
Plowing through Christina Lauren books like they are leftovers in the fridge that are about to expire!
This was an entertaining book. Cute on-again/off- again romance with some steamy scenes.
I tend to read this type of book to keep myself from entering a reading slump. I look forward to reading their other one, Roomies, later this year.

First of all, thank you so much for an incredible box of goodies, Anita! Such a varied book selection, I haven‘t read a Trixie Beldon for ages! Wallbanger might be slightly outside my comfort zone but it sounds hilarious. And not just a Disney valentines card but a Mickey Mouse Valentines Card 😍 #cupidgoespostal
