We read this in the grocery store today. So cute! Honestly, made me a bit sad because all the holiday traditions in it are so similar to my own growing up in the States...and yet my son won't be experiencing most growing up in Japan. I hadn't realized I'd like for him to have those common life experiences & shared nostalgia. He wasn't too interested in the book but that was likely due to the proximity of monster trucks. #Christmas #boardbooks

The baby looked under the couch and squealed, I thought because he saw a cat but then he pulled out a book! Atta boy!
A cat slunk out from under the couch a minute later, so who knows...😅
