Finished up the series tonight. Everything wrapped up for the most part. Good series overall—lotta pages but good stories and likable characters. Guess there is another coming out next year too.
Always have to do a reread of these. Truly my favorite series that‘s ever existed.
4✨That was another good ending. I don‘t know much of Greek/Roman mythology, but these books make it entertaining and easy to get a general idea. The set still have the wit and humor that the Percy series have. Time to start the next set. 🥰
On the last book of this series. I owe my knowledge of Greek and Roman mythology to these series and I‘m never bored reading them.
After this book I‘m definitely diving into the other series that are inspired by Egyptian and Norse mythology!
Definitely a weaker book. It was so meh that I honestly don‘t know what to say about it except that Leo‘s humour was terrible.
IT WAS AMAZING! I love all of Rick Riordan' s books, but this was the best
The last one! :(
Cant believe it's over.
What a battle and what an ending!
God's and Goddesses please come and collect your kids
Another great adventure from Riordan, this concludes the Heroes of Olympus series but sets up the next phase.
11/20 done for #bookspinbonanza and 1/15 for #15books15weeks - also, my penultimate square for social distancing bingo! All that‘s left is the audiobook (my first, which I started in...March?).
Here‘s my tentative stack for @TheHeartlandBookFairy ‘s #15Books15Weeks challenge. Need to finish the tagged and everything below that for #bookspinbonanza. Several others are series continuation, and 9/15 of these count for the library SRP first challenge.
Always subject to change!
So I finished what I'm calling the Flower Girl. And I'm on chapter 35 of my book. Looking for the motivation to keep reading and work on another project. So here's to finishing The Office and finding some motivation.
Been stuck at home for little ober a week now. Just now finding momentum in my book. That's okay though. I was working on my above project. Its not done yet. But it is definitely getting there.

500 pg
Going through the House of Hades stirred the Demigods' worst memories, their ghosts. Jason's is his mother who abandoned him. Reyna's are her ancestors who radiate anger and revenge. Leo's is his doubt that his plan will fail, but he knows one has to die to defeat Gaea. Piper must learn to give herself over to fear. They all have a role to play in the epic finale of the Gods of Olympus Series.
MUST READ!! Well read the first few series and then this series, with the four books in the series in front of it. long line huh? 😂 anyways haven‘t finished it yet so quote...
“Given a choice between death and the Buford Zippy Mary,...” is a hyperbole, it is an exaggeration that he had a choice on death and the Buford Zippy Mary, which is a grocery store. Pg. 356.
So I woke up yesterday really excited that it was library day. Told everyone at work who would listen that it was library day and I was excited. I had just finished The House of Hades the night before and was looking forward to getting the final installment to the series.... Library does not have it. Currently waiting to see if I can get it through a interlibrary loan. Slightly disappointed....
It's half-term, it's sunny, and I'm feeling good! I finally got around to finishing Rick Riordan's Heroes of Olympus series. I liked it a lot... but I didn't love it as much as I loved the others. There was lots of action and good humour as ever, but I found that the story was split between a lot of characters, and a lot of the important emotional moments had already happened in earlier books. Still a good ending to a fab series.

I swear, I'm never going to finish this book, but look at that view 😍
Best line I've read this year. ❤️
I'm either not reading at all or reading to finish the book - there's no happy median with me. 🤷♀️ Lucky tomorrow is Friday and the weekend is oh so close! 📖📚
Also Nico's POV 😍
This entire series was a rollercoaster of emotions. The final book in the series was intense and hit me right in the feels!
"No one can hate you with more intensity than someone who used to love you." - Rick Riordan, The Blood of Olympus (The Heroes of Olympus, #5)
One of the best???
"Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience; this is the ideal life." -
Mark Twain
Currently reading Blood of Olympus! I've had this sitting on my shelf for 2-3 years and just haven't got around to reading it. I'm so glad to be back in this world, I forgot how much I missed all the characters and their dynamics.

I really enjoyed the last book in this series. It was great to see the character development come full circle. The resolution was both epic and satisfying. I was glad to listen to this #audiobook on my long car trip.
I'm so sad to be finished with this series, but so, so happy with the ways it ended. 💖#heroesofolympus #rickriordan
Since I'm awake far earlier than I'd hoped to be, I figured I'd dive back into "The Blood of Olympus." I love these characters, and I love Rick Riordan's style. Not looking forward to ending this adventure, though!! ? #heroesofolympus #rickriordan
I'd say "poor Jason" but I'm too busy saying "PERCY!!"
Hay! Who ever knew Mother Nature could be so evil. Why when this Hay is so beautiful?
My oldest daughter is now on Litsy. This post of hers cracked me up. She is basically me as a teenager. 😂 Go follow @Anniewood924 if you want lots of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson posts. Plus, she's funny. ❤
Finished this in January, still can't get over the ending. LEO YOU JERK!!! He's my favorite but I hate him.
How many demigods can control the dead anyway? I thought it was exclusively a Hades thing, but apperently not.
I can finally say I have finished 2 Riordan series and I've loved both. I was happy with the ending even if it took forever for me to get there. He's an excellent middle grade writer.
I am blowing Litsy up tonight!!
I loved this series. So much heart. And this was a great conclusion. The ending was just about as perfect as an ending gets. I listened to the whole series on audio and even though I don't like that the narrators changed half way through the series, both narrators did a good job.
Only 4 books left in my to be read pile (That I Own) before the end of the year!! Now all I have to do is figure out how to stop myself from going to buy all the #TBR that I don't own next year. 😬
Day 8 of #booktober! Today was #diversereads, and I am super excited about this one! (From left to right) the first one is for racial diversity, the second is for mental health diversity (happy Mental Illness Awareness Week!), third is for gender diversity (girl power!), and the last is for sexuality diversity!
Nico is also one of my favorite characters and I'm glad we get to know him better on this and last book.
Also team Leo.
This is the 3rd Rick Riordan book I've started in a month. Going to finish the Heroes of Olympus series.
A wonderful ending to this series. I really enjoyed getting to hear Reyna and Nico's voices in this one (finally!). I loved the way each character's story arc was wrapped up, but I still want more!
