1-13-18: Bey Littens! Today, I got a new tattoo! My first book but certainly not my last. Here is the meaning: there is a silver ribbon and a real ribbon coming out of the book. They are to represent the cancer ribbons for lung and ovarian cancer. My father passed 17 years ago and my mom has been fighting for the last year. They gave me my love for reading and ballet so this is in honor of them and all they gave me. 📚💖

ValerieAndBooks Happy birthday! This reminds me of a museum practices class where the teacher informed us that she was part of a history of tattoos project at her university and it got an unprecedented turnout. We students had to do a mock project on the topic and it was fascinating what I learned (I have zero tattoos BTW, lol) 8y
