Photographing Fairies
Photographing Fairies: A Novel | Steve Szilagyi
9 posts | 4 read | 6 to read
In the 1920s, a country policeman, Constable Michael Walsmear, pushes his way into the London studio of Charles Castle, the world?famous American photographer, to show him some pictures. What Castle sees in Walsmears pictures is incredible. When he goes to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for verification of the faerie images found on the negatives, Doyle tries to bribe Castle to destroy the pictures. But Castle will not be bought; he is out to discover the truth. And it is truth he finds in the small village of Burkinwell, a village built upon secrets, strange sexual practices, beautiful gardens, and true human nature.

#fairytales @Linsey This book is on my TBR shelf, but I haven‘t read it yet. It is based partly on the Cottingly fairy incident, and features Arthur Conan Doyle. Anyone?

Got into photography in the seventh grade because of a school project and loved it ever since. I‘m also getting a degree in culinary arts, not as passionate about it as photography but eating and learning is great 👍🏾 #nonreadingpursuits #uncannyoctober

I know Litsy isn't about advertising and stuff, but I just have to share my love of these little photo books with y'all. I would lose so many pictures if it wasn't for groovebook. Get the app, upload 100 pics a month for $2.99, all bound in a book. They are amazing. I'm not a partner or anything I just really love the product. Crow12 will get you your first one free! I have over 40 of them. ❤️

DivineDiana So, the book is 100 pages? 8y
Foragingfantasy @DivineDiana Yes! And they are perforated so you can remove for framing or whatever. 8y
LauraBrook Wow, this looks cool! Thanks for sharing! 😎 8y
