Just read The Library Dragon for the 200+ time & had to come up with fluff to read (good fluff) too time. Our school had a record number of last minute registrants. My rotation is 🌪️ and the feelings 😔😭!
Has anyone written a picture book about having to move to a new class because there are too many kids? I mean... I should know!

I think my new water bottle sticker is hysterical. Just genius. No one here "gets" it though.

I don't know how many librarians before me at my school have read this book on the first day a class enters the library, but I think I have read it about 180 times. It's a tradition. The 5th graders hear it for the 6th time if they've been there since kindergarten. We are amazed by how much we notice for the first time during each reread. And they love it. It's so fun to see their reaction when I get it out. #HispanicHeritageMonth #readoutloud

The kids at my school start every year with this book, possibly since 1994. If they stay through to 5th grade, they will have read it 6 times. So I've read it 100s of times. 2020 is so strange.
