For whatever reason, when I thought of a book with a swimming pool, my mind jumped to the bears swimming in popcorn in the tagged book 🤷

Saw a National Theatre Live movie production of King Lear (with Sir Ian McKellen as Lear) - I‘m glad to have seen it but it‘s a 4 hour effort - so it was a popcorn dinner...
#emojinov day 22: 🌽
Popcorn was one of my favourite books when I was a kid. And the Oates book I'm kinda curious about. Have you read it?
Day 27 of #30daysofReadathon is SNACKS, a favorite word AND thing. I'm team salty snacks all the way. Maybe salty & sweet, but mostly salty. Raiding the kids' lunch stash has never felt so right.
🍿this cinema gets me 🍿
One of my favourite books when I was a kid! I was so pleased to find it in a library sale a year or so ago. And the kids love it too.
Ever popped so much popcorn whilst dressed in your Halloween best that it fills the house and you have to eat your way out? I haven't but I can dream... 🤔😂
The 5yo practices his reading by reading out loud to his brother.
This was the first time he read the book on his own and he seemed even more tickled by the story than before!
This is a great "in the mood for Fall" picture book! The young bear is left at home when his parents go to a Halloween party, so he invites a few friends over and tells them to bring something to eat. One by one they come, all bringing popcorn, and the house fills up when they cook it all at once. This story is short and sweet, and my son yells, "More popcorn?!" in mock horror at random while we read it--very fun!
