Super creepy ...Slow burn told via a series of podcasts. Not gory just .. disturbing. Loved it!

I love thrillers .. not sure this was worth the hyoe
More complex than your average twisty read - very good!
It apparently Agatha Christie month for me ... my first exposure to miss marple. I continue to never figure out 'who done it'
Oh my gosh - how was this book written over 75 years ago! So well written by the master of mystery. I would write more but I would spoil it...
I forgot how much I love agatha Christie books! Even better when I think I remember the end and I do not! Going to read some with my kids next
This book was not what I thought it would be but I did enjoy it. Small town secrets and family forgiveness
I can't believe I bailed on rainbow Rowell. Love her other books but could not get into this one.
Loved! I've seen others love this too. How a family puts itself back together after mother's death - and so much more
Really disturbing content but well written. A teenage girl is sent home to her grandparents farm after her mother dies and discovers a disturbing family history.
Meh - predictable. 5 kids sent to detention and one dies. Who is the killer? Positioned as the breakfast club meets pretty little liars.
I always enjoy Jenny colgan books - she is like the Maeve binchy but of Scotland. This one is about coming home and realizing there is no place like home ... with some romance and yummy recipes thrown in.
Utterly charming - made me want to reread all agatha Christie books. Plus murder on the orient express is coming out as a movie in November! This book is about a book club of Christie lovers who need to solve a real life mystery. Fun cozy mystery.
Definitely creepy - but somewhat predictable with a flat ending. A story about a foreign exchange student who definitely lands with the wrong family.
Loved- heart warming story about the healing power of community and our responsibility to others. Will definitely be looking for more books by this author.
This was a kindle daily deal - a sweet story of coping with loss and leaving a legacy.
Loved this book! A glamorous 1950s Hollywood siren hires on a memoir writer to document the great love of her life. The last sentence of this book is brilliant but don't read ahead because it's spoiler!
I don't know what to say. This book depressed the hell out of me. Is that a good enough reason to say it was terrible? Or maybe I just don't want to read books that have characters this self absorbed so it's me and not the book. Meh. I don't know. Any suggestions for happier books?
Enjoyable - I'm a sucker for anything sisters oriented. Throw in some amnesia and some mermaids and it's a perfect pre-summer read.
Meh. Sister gets out of jail after serving 10 years for a crime she did not commit. A tale of how well do you really know your family. It was pretty predictable in the "whodunnit"
Wow wow wow! Good girl meet bad girl meet queen. Throw in Kurt cobain, teenage suicide and whispers of satanic worshipping. I was unsure who to root for. Utterly absorbing. Ps- this was a kindle daily deal so might still be out there for $1.99!
Super predictable almost to the point I wondered if I read this book before!
My reading has slowed down due to work travel and my son's baseball tournaments - this was a fun romp based on Italy. College friends reunite after many years, some nursing regrets and old wounds. A happy uplifting fluffy read!
Local girl missing unearths decades old small town secrets. Meh. None of the characters were particularly likeable or redeemable. Read with detachment.
The college years and finding yourself and your voice... with a little romance thrown in...
A child disappears during a massive flood and reappears 10 years later - mute. Sort of tough to read when you have kids and a little predictable.
Swoon... definitely for book lovers. Who hasn't dreamed of owning their own bookshop? Lots of fun book recommendations throughout. And romance ❤
Loved it - a bit of a thriller about a man's girlfriend who does not come home from a business trip. I thought I had the ending figured out but is was a good twist!
I've been having a hard time lately finding books I'm "in the mood for"... this was a good break from thrillers. This lovely book was a good reminder of the value of family and friendships.
Stayed up past my bedtime to finish! A man with amnesia is found sitting on a beach while a newly wed wife searches for her missing husband. Had some good twists that had me wondering "who done it" and "what is it?".
I know this is the new "gone girl" book but it was meh. I think I need some fluff to balance out the reading palate!
Creepy social media stalking with a twist I never saw coming. I love when a book surprises me!
Meh ... Too grisly for me (heard multiple times how hard it is to cut someone in half vertically) and way too predictable
Super creepy ... about a female serial killer and they guy who is stalking her? Maybe not? They end up married? I don't know yet but I'm digging it
"No, I don't regret the small love of my life"
❤
First half of the book was great but found I could care less what happened to the main characters after awhile. I thought it was predictable and clear set up for a series. Not sure it was worth the calories I munched on as I read the book!
I don't know if I enjoyed this book so much because I was a waitress in my early 20s... the inner workings and drama of restaurant life and figuring out who you are and who you want to be in your 20s
