so-soI wanted to read this book before watching the series on HBO. I was slightly disappointed. I was hoping the plot twist would be the Mom or Amma had nothing to do with it because I figured it was going to be them. Also I kept thinking of the movie The 6th Sense where the mom was poisoning her child until she died. It was okay. Not my favorite.
Glad to be back and posting again! I took my kindle on a school trip and got some reading done by the Brooklyn Bridge. Can‘t wait for school to be over so I can read more books 🎉

So one of my advisory students is reading this book for her book club and she got in trouble with her reading teacher. I took her to my room and told her if she would read the book, I would read it to so we can have our own mini book club so she could get credit for her class. It‘s pretty good so far!
Helping my students (and myself) learn how to use our classroom 3D printer. They get so excited to see things print. I think I‘ll make a bookmark 😆

So I‘m giving #librarything a chance. I just downloaded the app and started to catalogue my books. I haven‘t figured out how to import anything from my amazon account (I‘m not sure it can be done though the app.) I like the barcode scanner but it doesn‘t register what book it is all the time (might be the due to the BOTM cover 🤷🏻♀️)
Ironically many Christmases ago, my mom asked me if I wanted a kindle (it was new technology back then 😂) but I told her no. I thought I would hate using something electronic to read books. I loved real books. (She got it for me anyway) Fast forward to today and about 6 kindle upgrades later, I can‘t imagine going anywhere without one. #teamkindle

I thought it was a pretty good adaptation. I like how they incorporated the texting as “actual” conversations in her architecture models. The astronaut scenes were a little meh in my opinion. Overall I liked it. Thoughts?
Tomorrow is my 3 year wedding anniversary and my husband surprised me not only with tickets to see Anastasia on Broadway but the necklace Ana wears in the movie (which I loved so much growing up). Then to see this reply on Twitter was the icing on the cake 🍰

Last week I won the Friday Forty for tickets to see the opening previews of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. This weekend I saw the performance and it was absolutely amazing. I‘m actually sad I read the script prior to seeing the play. It‘s truly meant to be seen in person. ⚡️I got to meet the cast at the Stage Door and they all signed my book. ❤️😭
So I‘ve seen the first season of “The Magicians” and a coworker was shocked I haven‘t read the series because clearly I‘m a sucker for some magic. My library hold just came through so I‘m starting book 1 today!

So yesterday I went to New York Comic Con cosplaying as the Fat Lady from Harry Potter. I didn‘t think so many people would stop me and ask for a photo and tell me how much they loved my cosplay. It made me super happy. 😊❤️
I just watched the series on Netflix and I didn't care for it that much so I thought maybe I would enjoy the book better. I downloaded a sample to my kindle and no, just no. 👎🏻

so-soI couldn't sleep so I spent the night finishing this book. The ending was so abrupt and left me with more questions and just frustrations. The book has many dry parts that I skimmed past hoping for more than I actually got. Did Scott Bean have multiple personalities? Like I just really don't understand. And the "kidnapping part", that could have been developed so much better. Just too many loose strings. PASS!!
