🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I can‘t praise this book enough. Its beautiful and dedicated prose stands next to nothing except perfection in all its intricacies and complexities. Neil Gaiman is a master wordsmith like no other. I was pulled in so absolutely I almost forgot where my life began and this wondrous story ended... so interwoven I became that it took me such awhile to gain my footing again. Enjoy away avid readers.

Omfgosh that was one wild ride 😱😱😱!!! Now I want more from this Author... This novel was definitely one for the record for Creepiness factor overload. Every. Single. Chapter. Sent chills down my spine. I could not get enough even while pushing the book 📖 away in fear of what I‘d read next...what I‘d learn next 🤯😱. I had to stifle the need to Scream “RUN!” so many times. This seriously had me at the edge of my seat until the very last word.

I thought 💭while it had a lot of potential and was also rather humorous at points it was rather scatterbrained. I felt as if parts were also trying to hard tbh *sigh*. I really wanted to like this more than I did, but unfortunately it was a bit of a let down especially artistically 🎨. Oh well I do appreciate certain elements though so... 3 🌟🌟🌟... 🤷🏻‍♀️

SoOoOo Glad I picked this up from my library 📚 recently 🤗. It‘s definitely great for anyone jonesing from Saga... it‘s reminiscent, but with a much darker tone to it. The protagonist is a bit annoying at first w/her stubbornness but I can tell there‘s a whole backstory leading up to a huge climax so I‘m excited for that 😈😄😄😄. This is a series that is deserving to be on anyone‘s TBR 🤩👍🏼👍🏼

I either felt their plight or that I was right there beside them observing it all. The story itself was heart wrenching & deeply moving, but one that carried a lot of weight not to be lost in its overall profound message. This is one to be read & shared again & again 💜!

The book could‘ve been edited by a few hundred pages or so where the author vainly inserts himself & unnecessarily goes into some of the family‘s history, but I enjoyed it overall ✌🏼🙃✌🏼

A tasty little morsel of a novella 😈🖤. It paints a beautifully dark portrait of tragedy and f*ckery: Where sometimes hey bad sh*t just has no answers, & villains and mystery will remain shrouded because that‘s life in most instances... not a pretty package- so if you‘re looking for a neatly gift 🎁 wrapped conclusion pick another book, but if you don‘t mind a little twist you‘ll like this especially the imagery 😉

2🌟🌟If I could rename this book 📖 it would be “An Obscure ‘Sort of‘ Irish Ghost 👻 Story” w/a huge emphasis on obscure & sort of 🤦🏻‍♀️. This book was so disappointing. The main character basically drives around & goes to pubs most of the book. There‘s a ridiculously over done cheesy AF sex scene (one to be exact-very anticlimactic too). Also who sees ghosts constantly and says nothing all the damn time like la la la 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤮- Hard pass!👎🏼

The fine lines & struggles she creates were great. I love that eternal gray. I just thought it really started to fall short towards the end. I think this one was a like but not love for me🤹🏻‍♀️

😮Whoa!That was a bit of a wild ride🙃☺️. I liked it more for its appeal as a nemesis👹more than as a “Ghost👻Story”, but it definitely had the spook factor & good twists & turns. I thought “it” was a thing to be reckoned with which made it worthwhile & kept the pace steady & intriguing. I did think that the author could‘ve been a little less far fetched with certain aspects, but otherwise it was still a fun tale that kept you on your toes😉

3🌟🌟🌟Well written piece of alternative historical fiction/fantasy etc. The parts that were good were really good, but the parts that weren‘t-just lagged and that says A LOT about a book so action packed. I can honestly say that I‘m fairly certain this will improve w/the series by how well written it is and the plot etc. but definitely a like but not love for the 1st installment unfortunately, but I have faith in it none-the-less 🤔🙃

3🌟🌟🌟🤔I liked it, but there was so much more the author could‘ve done with it. The writing was good... absolutely nothing wrong w/the writing. My issue was that it was lacking in explanations, and then the cliff hangers felt kind of lack luster and lazy. The whole thing felt like meeting someone with incredible talent and knowing they weren‘t living up to their potential *smh*-A decent read to pass the time basically but that‘s it😕

I think it‘s easy enough to write about an era, but it‘s another thing to write in that style while having it set in that era as well. I thought he did superb. It was a lot of fun as well. My only critique was that it wasn‘t as scary as I hoped it would be, & I honestly wished the whole exorcism plot went more in-depth 👻💀🖤😎♥️
