27/52: The Lovely and the Lost
Very unique story, read it in two days. Kira‘s traumatic past made me cry multiple times.

25/52: Fallen
If I could give this book 0 stars, I would. The plot was all over the place. The first 150 pages were very well written, but as it got closer and closer to the end, it literally felt like the “fallen angel” concept was thrown in all at once. It was hard to find a rhythm while reading this because Luce had absolutely no development, and that lead to there being no context behind the climax.

24/52: The Midnight Library
This book was just so beautiful. There were so many wonderfully written passages throughout the book. The characters and storyline were just perfect. It really makes us think about our lives and how the affect the world around us. Definitely check this book out.

23/52: It Happened One Summer
Ok this book was cute and had its quirks but like who the hell insists on wearing a beanie during s3x?? I liked this one but I also suffered from huge secondhand embarrassment 😁
22/52: Everyone In This Room Will Someday Be Dead
As someone who has a lot of anxiety issues, I thought this book was hilarious and relatable. Gilda shares a lot of the same intrusive thoughts I have like, “These are the same hands we will have for the rest of our lives.”
Ps. The pic i took is weird so bear with me

21/52: Ugly Love
Forgot to snap a pic of my library book. But anyways, i always love CoHo‘s mental health representation! This one was amazing as always. Tate and Miles are otp.
20/52: They Both Die at the End
Mateo is such a soft babi I just wanna give him a big hug. Loved this one.

19/52: Everything Leads to You
I saw this on an “underrated books that should be on BookTok,” so I gave it a shot. I really loved this story. It was very well written and the characters were super loveable. Definitely associate this book with the song Looking out for You by the Joy Again.

18/52: The Kiss Quotient
Pulled out of my reading slump, yay!
This book for some reason was really hard for me to read. Like it took a while to get really into it because the plot was repetitive and irritated me at times. I love how well Stella was represented throughout the whole story, it sheds light on how autism isn‘t a disease.

17/52: The Love Hypothesis
I liked this one, I understand all the hype around it. It was cute and Adam is definitely daddy. I thought Olive was selfish and whiny throughout the book though and kind of expected Adam to solve everything for her, but other than that it was a great book.

16/52: Verity
When I say this book broke me, it broke me. I was not emotionally ready for the ending 🥲. (I will always side w/ Jeremy & Lowen). Anyways, per usual i love Colleen Hoover‘s work and this book did not disappoint.
I‘ve been procrastinating a lot on reading lately but I got pulled out of readers block now so hopefully more frequent posts :-):-)

15/52: It Ends With Us
Holy shit. This book was phenomenal. BookTok and Bookstagram didn‘t lie.
I love Lily‘s story. I loved Ryle so much and was absolutely heartbroken when it started going downhill. I just wanna give poor Atlas a hug.

14/52: All the Bright Places
Suicide is a sensitive topic for me and this story touched me because of how well it was written. Mental health is and will always be important to write and talk about. Great job
Also I‘ve been kinda procrastinating on reading lately, sorry.

Cute book, cute characters. I love the relationship Adare and Cora share.

12/52: A Good Girl‘s Guide to Murder
I LOVED this book- there was not a dull moment the whole story. Pip is a badass for solving a murder while only being 17. Definitely would recommend this one.

11/52: The ABC Murders
I liked this book a lot, it was a cozy murder mystery for the wintertime and the ending really threw me. I actually came across this book from the book “Horrid” I read earlier. Great book.

10/52: A Dog‘s Purpose
Cry, sobbing, throwing up, this book was so good and had such a sad and happy ending. All the perspectives got to me in so many ways. Beautiful story.

9/52: Horrid
Super exciting book, I finished this in a day because I couldn‘t put it down. I thought the ending was ironic yet it felt unfinished.

Ugh I just wish someone would look at me the same way Jack looks at Kate. I loved this book.

7/52: Where We Go From Here
This book is about gay men who are learning to deal with life being HIV+. It was cute and showed the ups and downs of dealing with prejudice.

6/52: Not Even Bones
I watch a lot of true crime, and this book was SO well done in my opinion. I loved the characters and the plot was very thrilling. It left me gagging for more & was hard to put down :)

5/52: Girls Like Us
I wish this book separated the two characters more. Quincy and Biddy both had very similar characteristics even though they were supposed to be polar opposites-I wish they had different voices instead of being identical. I felt this book poked fun at special needs peoples quite more than it should‘ve. I had higher hopes for this book but it was still half decent.

4/52: The Art of Racing in the Rain
First book of 2022 to make me bawl my eyes out. This story drew me in and let me see life through a dogs eyes. It was captivating. Loved it.

3/52: Serafina and the Twisted Staff
This book sucked me in even MORE than the first one!! It was so well and this was a great continuation in the series. It scared me a little bit (which is good), and can‘t wait to read 3 and 4.

2/52: Criss Cross
I thought this book was incredibly charming. It really shows how life is as a teenager without love and drama. The pictures in the book really added to the story. Despite a lot of negative opinions on it, I couldn‘t put this book down.

1/52: Serafina and the Black Cloak
This was my first book on my 2022 reading list!
It was a very odd book, but it was quirky and I liked the aesthetic it had. I also had no idea the setting of the story was an actual place. Will be adding the second and third books to my to read list. :)
