Recent bookstore haul. #bibliophile
This favorite shelf holds ALL THE BOOKS on personality. This one is a favorite.
Reading this now, finally, and it's great. Thus the familiar question: why did I put it off for so long?
Spotted: great book in an adorable edition. (Harper Olive)
"There's a trick to everything. That's how you get through life." Reading my very first Anne Tyler, finally, and enjoying it--because of lines like these.
This used to be, unquestionably, my favorite Tana French novel. I can't decide if the new one is better or not. Either way, that says good things for Tana French.
All the Light gets all the love, but I might love this slim memoir even more. Great for lovers of good prose, those who enjoy peeks behind the curtain of the writing process, and armchair travelers.
When a little bibliotherapy is in order, L.M. Montgomery is always a good call. #electionday
So far it's like The Fugitive meets The Pelican Brief meets Broken Harbor. So ... not bad. Not bad at all.
I always like to see an underrated book I enjoyed out in the wild. #bookstorebrowsing
There must be thousands of editions of Pride and Prejudice but I'm still always happy to spot a new-to-me edition.
Tiny bookstore, large Wendell Berry selection. I approve.
I didn't read this series till I was an adult--and it was totally MY LOSS. (Psst--the audio series narrated by Cherry Jones is fantastic.)
I've been meaning to read this for years. Starting now. Or, at least, now-ish.
I was kinda thinking about reading this one, but then I saw it prominently displayed at the Tenement Museum and bumped it way up my list. Is that weird?
I'm trying to play it cool and not urge my daughters to read this RIGHT NOW because then they won't but I really want my daughters to read this right now. And maybe I will too.
There's nothing like a bookstore window. (Loved spotting this great NYC book in NYC earlier this month.)
My husband's current read, because I insisted. It's so good, y'all. (And on sale today for kindle FYI.)
What I'd rather be doing right now instead of WRITING a book. (READING one, of course! Started this last night and am antsy to get back to it.) @theladygreer
Me: What should I read next?
Husband: There's a podcast for that.
Everybody has a book stack in their closet, right? (Don't answer that.)
Motivated to finally take the Litsy app out for a spin (MONTHS after I downloaded it) because I just finished this one and it's pretty fantastic. Thank goodness, because I was going to be beside myself if it wasn't after waiting so long.
