Finally able to pick up a book tomorrow, go on a beautiful run, do some yoga and relax. Just what I need after this week 😍 Any good book suggestions?

If you enjoyed twilight, you‘ll for sure enjoy this. Although simple, I actually really enjoyed the story line and found myself relating to more than one character (I‘m a 19 year old university student, so no surprise there!). The writing is pretty simplistic, but easy to follow, so I ended up reading the whole novel in one sitting. Despite the basic vocabulary and common ‘Teen girl falls for supernatural being‘ storyline, I couldn‘t put it down.
Okay..
So I‘ve decided to put this book on hold (once again)
It‘s not that it isn‘t well written, because it is, but I‘m just not that gripped 😕
Neil Gaiman is such an incredible author, and I enjoyed his Norse mythology a lot, but I can‘t help feel this novel is a little too slow for a person as busy as me. I will finish it! I just need a break to go over some things and analyse it! I don‘t know, something about it just feels a bit off to me
For any marine biologists out there, you know this is a staple! I couldn‘t even guess the number of times this book has helped me through my practical exams and has advanced my understanding of marine fauna. Although not majorly relevant to a lot of you Littens, this book truly is a staple in my library, and I will continue to rely on it for the remainder of my degree .
So I think my girl likes the book 🤣
Meet Phoenix Embers, ain‘t she special? 😍 🐍
In terms of the novel, I‘m enjoying it. I‘m still a little confused, but it‘s a weird book! So no surprise there! For people who have watched the TV series, the novel is far, far better!

Getting back into reading has reminded me of something very special.
I love books so much, I re-read each sentence again and again...
Because I have OCD 🤦♀️🤣
Getting through this may take a little longer than expected considering I‘m actually a quick reader 😅
Wish me luck!!
Jumping on the bandwagon!
1️⃣ I often find myself wandering into the bookstore/library and playing eeny meeny miny moe with the books as i‘m indecisive 🤣
2️⃣ I used to read on the bus to college, but have now adopted the train as a designated reading place as my journey is 4 hours!
3️⃣ My pets, studying and cute goat videos
4️⃣ Nope, nope, nope! I always forget to eat when I read

Finally found time to pick this beast back up and I‘m not disappointed! As much as I love my studies, it‘s so nice to be able to read some fiction rather countless books on zoology and statistics!
Any recommendations for my next read? I feel like a bit of Stephen King maybe... 🧐💙
Hey!
So I thought I‘d make a little intro post.
My names Bec, I‘m 19 and I‘m a marine vertebrate zoology student. My absolute favourite genres are horror, fantasy and MAYBE a wee bit of romance from time to time. I‘m a big environment enthusiast and love gazing into the sea when it‘s raining, with a fat cup of coffee and some chill music. I aspire to be a marine vertebrate conservationist, specialising in sharks and rays! Happy reading!
