I have mixed feeling on this. I enjoyed the book. More action and more romance, this the 3 stars.
I just can't grasp the idea that the fate of all witches is in the hands of a not fully trained and barely adult witch.

I finished this book like 2 days ago and I started the second book just to know how it will end.
I enjoyed reading the book though it didn't stand out. I like witch-ey stories.
I think teens would like this.

📙 No. I tried, I really tried. But, audiobooks are not for me.
📙 I guess for some people they can do other tasks while listening to an audiobook. Me, I like to concentrate on my reading.
Currently reading The Witches of Pinecroft Cove series.
Hilariously witchy. ☺️🧙♀️
Will try to give a review when I'm done with the series.
⭐⭐⭐
Fast paced. A nice read if you're looking for something you can finish in one sitting or something to read in between if the book you're currently reading gets to be too much.
A reread.
I love Anne Rice no matter how descriptive her form of writing is.
Wanting to finish her Mayfair witches trilogy.
if you are into historical art, adventure and mystery, then read this. I can't tell 100% if I like the book, I'm almost halfway but I still get confused.
In the end, maybe love just meant longing for something impossibly bright and forever out of reach.
Weakness is a guise. Wear it when they need to know you‘re human, but never when you feel it. Don‘t wish for bricks when you can build from stone. Use whatever or whoever is in front of you. Being a leader means someone is always watching you. Get them to follow the little orders, and they‘ll follow the big ones. It‘s okay to flout expectations, but never disappoint them.
When I heard that the Shadow and Bone trilogy will be made to a Netflix series, I have to reread the books. Currently on the second book.
A story full of wisdom.
so... i just finished reading the last book to complete my TBR 2020. time to do my TBR 2021!
i was saving this for December, but i can't resist the pull!
this talks about family, friendships, traditions and changes. i loved it!
This was thrilling... however, there are questions left unanswered. Or is it just me... 🤔
i like strong women, more so strong women who come together.
i just hate when they feel guilty for something they did not do especially when told by someone that it's their doing.
this book was okay. just hated some parts, but it contributed to the suspense.
I chose the path less traveled and that has made all the difference.
In the back of his mind, he wondered at his choice. On what path was it that he now traveled?
> Got back to reading this book after reading The Flower Shop Sister series by Iris Morland. Now I am wondering why I put this book on hold. Can't stop now.
Oopsie...this was fun...
Steamy...some parts funny...
This was cute...a Romeo and Juliet story in a world of flowers...
You will have to refer to the family tree in the first few pages of the books and you also have to read the first 2 books to know the characters.
The places they traveled would make you want to go, too.
The customs and traditions are spot on and relatable, at least here in the Philippines.
Looking at all your posts motivates me to read a lot of books! Also, I'm stacking a lot because of you! I'm glad I joined Litsy. 😊
Still crazily rich and still richly crazy...
I liked the story even though I am not familiar with most brands the author named. Also, I got lost with the family branches that I have to go back many times.
I'm on the third book. :)

👻 No. Here in our country, we do not usually do Halloween. But we love ghost stories and watch a lot of them during this time.
👻 No. Right now I have a rainbow on my phone. But, it is a great idea. I'll check out some.
Living in the shadow of your famous mom has its advantages as well as disadvantages.
I like strong women characters.
Family...Tradition...Loss...Revenge...Twists...
This book kept me up. I like how it nagged me to read more, to have to know what happens next.
There are loose ends in this book and I don't know if there will be another book coming out, but it's not giving me the oh-my-god-i-can't-wait-for-the-next-book feel!
There is magic on this planet, it is contained in water. —Loren Eiseley
There is something peaceful with water, whether you gaze on it or float on it.
This book is about betrayal, selfishness, jealousy, forgiveness and love.
“I told you that love is like falling, like drowning. This will be the same. I just have to let go.” - Hazel Swan
Hmmm...The movie is different. Too bad I watched the movie first. I did not know that it was based on a book. I liked the movie more than the book and this breaks my heart since I am from a team-book-first-then-watch-the-movie. Oh well, we can't have it all, can we? But this will not deter me from reading all Enola Holmes books. I just love everything Sherlock-y!
This is the 7th book of the Murder by Design series. I came across this book while browsing Google Play Books. It updates me when a new book has been released from all the series I have read and added using that app.
Anyway, I digress. I love this series. It's a light read, funny and of course it has something to do with ghosts! Also, the book covers are just so attractive to me.
Done with these 3. Currently on book 4 of 14. Hooked so far and in time for spooky month!
Okay. I started this September 1 of 2018...it is now 2020. I am now on the track of continuing books that I have started years ago. I should have not taken that long though. It was good. I liked the book. It was just boring the first half, then along came the books with nice covers. But it gets better. You know, it Sherlock Holmes! Hehehe.
Has anyone read this? What are your thoughts?
I can't connect. It's just like a random story I picked up along the way. That's how I am feeling. I am still currently reading and I'm halfway. I can't say if I like it or not.
I just realize, I have been doing book reviews all wrong. It should be blurbs that I should be doing as I suck at doing reviews.
I came to know about these authors because of the book covers they use. Yes, I don't go at all with ratings I see. I mostly go for a book because of the cover.
I like reading Christina Lauren books. Most of them are funny. If you find yourself in a reading slump, try reading her books.
I love anything Sherlock-y! Finally finished this series!
Hmmm...I would recommend this to teenagers...I like it and I'll definitely finish the series just to know what happens in the end.
To be a teenager again...
I wanted to read something light before digging into the books that I shelved halfway through reading. Although I'm more into thrillers, supernaturals and mysteries, I sometimes delve to light romance. Nothing beats falling in love every now and then.
I know I said that this does not work for me. It took me a month and 2 days to finish this. I was so overwhelmed with Edward's blabbering that I have to re-watch the movies. It gets better anyway and I still love the series. I have to give credit to the author, I can't believe that she has not run out of words to explain the feelings of Edward!
The series so far has saved me from my reading slump. On to the next!
A Little Too Late was renamed Love, Hannah when illustrations were changed. I love the current book covers. It was one of the reasons that I opted to read the books first. I shelved a lot of books in the past few weeks.
I'm glad Charlie gets to have his own story after A Thousand Letters and also that he was paired with Hannah. He needs her, one who knows what she wants and loyal.
A light read. I liked the book but a bit corny at the end. But hey, it's just me. I'll be reading book 3 of the series.
I just have to start with this one after reading book 2 of the series. I know, I know, I didn't read it in order. Hah! I usually read books in the order I shelved them. But lately, I am in the mood to read in the order I find interesting...usually, book covers!
The feels! I enjoyed reading this book even if it is a little depressing. So many feelings that it is hard for me to write it all down.
I am a Twilight series fan, but this just doesn't work for me. But I have to bear reading it since I am that kind of person who has to finish what I started.
