Misty has been in love with him since childhood, and despite not seeing him for over a decade is immediately in love with him again.
Neither character did anything for me, and Misty‘s boss was a huge ass!

A nymph (from the overworld) with special magic mimicking abilities is sent on a mission to the underworld to “steal” some weapons, in the hope it will prevent war between her home and the territory of Ra.
But nothing goes according to plan and to get out safely she needs to work with an incubi, one of the master spell weavers.
This is the first in a trilogy. Might look for the others some time!

panSo, this is a no for me. If it wasn't a #BookClub read I would have #DNF the book, so it got somewhat interesting but... if you don't plan on reading the next in the series (which I am not interested enough in that) it is really a waste of time. Also maybe because this was #Audio instead of print, but all the names of the places and people got jumbled for me, not sure if the print has some sort of map or something.

So I am about 40% in on this one. It took me a bit to get into it. I almost DNF'd it at around the 20% mark because it felt like too familiar of a story. It still feels that way but it is not peaking my interest. I have 4 loads of laundry to fold and put away today. So I will be listening along :)

pickIt has been a long time since I last read Interview with the Vampire, so I was excited to pick it up again for #ParanormalLoveCrew
This time around there were some things I struggled with, but overall I still found this as interesting and captivating as before.
There is a reason it is one of the best known vampire novels!

pickAt the start I wasn‘t sure if I liked this, but overall I enjoyed it. It definitely picked up once the training/action started! I do struggle with unreliable narrators, and Selene (a half-elf who has lost the memories of her elf life after becoming a changeling) is most definitely unreliable in my opinion.
I like the mix of characters though, and might come back to this series when I want a cosy paranormal read. ☺️

pickSo, I never found my physical copy (thought I had but it was another book by Anne Rice) so, this was strictly #Audio. I did a lot of the #AudioCleaning / #AudioOrganizing while listening but... I didn't finish my #ToDoList. Anyway, definitely a pick! Gonna focus on another #Audio for the rest of the chores.
