Book 52
Though this isn‘t my favorite from this great writing duo, this Hollywoodish romance still makes for an entertaining listen. With first loves, betrayals and family secrets, there‘s more than you would expect crammed in- all with film making shine to it! It‘s cute but the central romance never really had me rooting all that hard for them... but it kept my attention throughout! #AudioColoring
I thought this was an overall good book. I really enjoyed how it started with two teens meeting in London and falling in love. I liked the tension and the Hollywood backstory. I found the little bits and pieces about the film industry really fun and entertaining. I did feel like it ended a bit abruptly and was rushed in the last 50 pages which turned into a bit of a predictable read. But, overall, I really enjoyed this one!
Thank you so much for all the awesomeness! Loved the card it put a smile on my face and the truffles were delicious! #bookcupidswap
I like the story. It‘s cute, it‘s different and it has a few surprises.
I absolutely adored this story! I could barely put it down. I love the way CL writes- in the beginning that initial attraction and innocence and how that always develops into something complicated but beautiful and sweet. I only wish it was longer and we got a chance to hear Sam‘s perspective. There was a lot left out of the 14 years in between their meetings. Def pick tho! Which CL should I read next? What‘s your favorite?
Brrrr.. nothing like cold weather to make you cozy on up to the sofa with your fuzzy socks and a good book. 🥶❄️
A girl meets a boy while they are both on vacation in London with grandparents. Then they meet again when they are adults but their dynamic has changed.
I just realize, I have been doing book reviews all wrong. It should be blurbs that I should be doing as I suck at doing reviews.
I came to know about these authors because of the book covers they use. Yes, I don't go at all with ratings I see. I mostly go for a book because of the cover.
I like reading Christina Lauren books. Most of them are funny. If you find yourself in a reading slump, try reading her books.
Initially apprehensive about a storyline travelling back and forth in time, as that‘s rarely handled well in popular fiction, but that isn‘t really an accurate description—the first part of the book is set in the past and then the remainder continues 14 years later, with the present answering questions about the past. The story focuses on Tate, whose two-week HS graduation trip to London with her grandmother changes her, and her future, forever.
I didn‘t like this one as much as the unhoneymooners . But It was still a great story . And it kept me interested enough to keep reading . Which is tough right now with my lack of concentration. Overall a feel good ending .
Book 32 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Being the daughter of a famous actor Tate and pretends to be normal is being hard. Her first trip out of the country was to London where she meets Sam. Trusting him with her secret he betrayed her with the purpose of getting some money for his grandpa's treatment. After 14 years they meet again filming a movie and things get messy. Tate‘s dad betrayed her. Finding her love back to Sam, her first love. ❤️

How did you choose the book: looked interesting
Summary: Sam and Tate fell for each other in only the way that first loves do: sharing all of their hopes, dreams, and deepest secrets along the way. Sam was the first, and only...
The romance was cute, and I enjoyed the sort of camp retreat setting that the story took place in. The plot betrayal and subsequent complications were kind of silly, though. Goodreads: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This Snapchat accurate for my feelings this Monday. Would much rather be finishing the tagged back that I started last night than sitting at my computer at work.
I‘m liking this trend of romance books I want to read being heavily discounted...

It‘s a fun, classic Christina Lauren novel. I know what I‘m getting with these authors and I enjoyed it as always. Cute story with a fun twist.
Listening to this one while I attempt to start a complete overhaul of my bedroom and getting it looking halfway decent. So far I‘m liking it, but then I love all that Christina Lauren writes.
I‘ve enjoyed almost all of “Christina Lauren‘s” books. This one had less explicit romance and a unique new plot that was refreshing! There‘s something about “seeing behind the curtain” of an actor‘s life that is so fascinating. Even if it didn‘t go extremely deep, the important relationships both characters had with their families was heartening.
A nice, interesting, easy read for this dreary, cold beginning to the year!
⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
I really liked this despite there being a big ‘Duh!‘ moment in here. Tate meets the love of her life when she‘s 18 and gets betrayed by said love. 15 years later she‘s an actress on the set of a movie which was written by, unbeknownst to her, said love. This was juicy in the way it reminded me of the movie, Soapdish. How there was a drama production going on but all the good stuff was going on backstage. There were some good layers going on. Pick!
Fantastic premise: we live in a celebrity-obsessed culture that finds the inner workings of Hollywood fascinating and this book dishes! The writing was clever and captivating with a well-developed back story. Parts of it were moving and tender—the innocence and excitement of first love was captured so wonderfully. If you love YA and romance, than this book is for you. The beginning reads like a YA book and the rest is a consuming romance.
So emotional and I just love the story of Tate and Sam. When I was reading on my lunch breaks at work, I literally had to put the book down so I wasn‘t a crying mess at my desk.
Christina Lauren has become one of my favorite romance authors, and Twice in a Blue Moon did not disappoint. It's the story of Tate and Sam, a couple who meets and falls in love when they are young but are driven apart by treachery. Years later, they meet again, scarred by the way their relationship ended. ⬇️
There‘s nothing new in this story. I found myself skimming through most of the last half.
Rating: 4/5
Christina Lauren books are my guilty pleasure. I just love how fun, witty, and sweet their books are with some complicated sub plots. This one is about second chances with loving your first love again. I could not put this down. I took off a star because I felt like there was something missing and I wanted more to the ending. #bookstagram #bibliophile #christinalauren #read #pick #fourstars #romance #chicklit
I‘ll never tire of reading anything they write. Tate and Sam‘s story and reconnection gave me all the feels. Lost love, a movie set, a beautiful farm-I ate this up! 😩 So, so good.
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3.5 Stars
Not their usual writing style (and I definitely wouldn‘t pick it as your first Christina Lauren book). I found it fell short in some areas, but it was still enjoyable. I would have liked to seen more of what happened with the ending.
So this happened today. Didn‘t even know I was that close. Happy to hit the mark with a book I enjoyed by authors I love.
Christina Lauren is an auto buy author. This book was a little different from their other books that I have read lately. But I still loved it. I was pulling for Tate and Sam the whole book. My only complaint is I wanted to know more. Can‘t wait to read what they write next. This is my first completed book in the #24b4monday readathon.
Review is up on my blog. Stop by and say hi. https://reecaspieces.com/2019/10/22/twice-in-a-blue-moon-by-christina-lauren-gal...
Enjoying this beautiful fall afternoon. #potatosoupiscooking
I won an ARC of this through Goodreads. I enjoyed a great deal of this book, especially our main characters. However, there are points that fell flat for me. I did end the book wanting more resolution and I am hoping there is a follow up book with some of the supporting characters. For Christina Lauren fans this is significantly less erotic than their earlier series, and more somewhere between Women‘s Fiction and Contemporary Romance. 3.5 🌟
1. Finishing up tagged which I‘m really enjoying and just started Protect the Prince by Jennifer Estep on audiobook
2. Between the two pumpkin spice, though my favorite fall flavor is apple cinnamon
3. “My last full day at the farm begins with the blast of an alarm before the sun is even up.”

I really wanted to love this book, especially because I live all her other books, but I really just couldn‘t get behind this. Everyone drove me insane! It was a betrayal for “the greater good”, but it also wasn‘t his choice to make. All the people in her life, except her bestie and her mother, were not good.
I‘m reading an ARC I picked up at BEA, since it‘s not final no quotes or blind from me. But so far, so good with my first Christina Lauren title.
This was a sweet rom com with great characters and an interesting plot that I wish I had known less about before reading the book. Very charming characters and a great love story, but without being degrading to anyone involved. I can‘t say enough about how much I loved the people in this story. I would love to see Christina Lauren write a follow up. Haven‘t read them before, but I intend to now! Read this as an #arc from #edelweiss
I hope my luck of getting approved for Christina Lauren books continues cause I really want to read this one! #netgalley
