Just finished this. What a strange, slow book, which refused to become less elusive as the ending approached. The power of the writing and characters kept me going though, and I really dug it.

I swore I was done buying books in 2016, and it proved exactly as true as we might have expected...

A very short book which, like a TARDIS, is a lot bigger on the inside than it seems. Very clever, albeit with lots of worrying talk about the future. Pardon me while I blow up the internet and hide in the hills now...

Volume 2 is as good as volume 1. Clunky in places, but really fun storytelling, and the sort of improbable-but-logical conclusion that only the Doctor would dream up. Really surprised at how good this story was.

The Doctor and the Enterprise-D team up against the Borg and the Cybermen. Such a stupid premise, but surprisingly well-written, faithful to both series' tones, AND the art is great.

Tonight's book is very small, but I've been really looking forward to it. The first line is "hand over the entire internet now and nobody gets hurt". How can it not be a winner?

An excellent, clever, very elusive sort of horror novel with a fascinating ending, and which really deserves a better cover than it's been saddled with here. Definitely recommended.

Just got an ARC of this (as well as Flash and Wonder Woman) and am so excited. To get into it. What I've read of Son of Superman has been the best Superman I've read in years and years.

Finished writing chapter 3 in MY book, now gonna read a few short stories and then dive back in.

Bunked off all my other reading for this, because I am such a fan. It's great so far, but I do think the book deserves a better cover than this.

A wonderful book so far, lyrical and pulling, as it slowly guides you into the story chapter by chapter, until you're suddenly deep in. Really enjoying it.

If you can ever find a copy of Frankenstein illustrated by Bernie Wrightson, do so. Trust me.

Bought this for two bucks, and now can't stop reading it, because I am a total sucker for Hollywood history kinda books.

I hadn't realized til this big reread how much The Dark Tower books feel like just a straight channeling of King's subconscious storytelling brain onto the page, more than anything else he's done. Hence, I think, the surreal quality the books pick up. #DarkTowerDecember

Today's book, MORT(E), which I discovered via @Liberty , is one of those glorious examples of an insane premise, treated logically. It's really great so far. And the cover and binding is GORGEOUS

The audiobook I'm enjoying whenever I'm out walking. Countless time through it. Lenny Henry's reading is amazing.

This morning's read. From page one, it basically says "hello, I'm here to stomp all over your heart. Let's get started, shall we?" (Amazing book, though) (and BREATHTAKING movie trailer. So watch that.)

This week's class book is MAMA DAY, which I've read before and which is amazing. I recommend it especially if you were a fan of the movie BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD. They share some DNA.
