This was so compelling! It‘s written exactly as a teenage girl thinks, which sounds like it would be hard to follow, but it‘s hard to put down. It‘s really fun!

The continuation of one of my favorite series didn't disappoint. Gifford's writing is so clear, poignant and unexpectedly hilarious. Sailor and Lula are some of my favorite characters in all of literature.

Whoa. This book isn't a page turner, but it's a page savorer. Whitehead is a wildly talented writer. The sentences are gorgeous. This examination of race and society is incredible and fascinating and just strange enough to be perfect.
