Really enjoying this book so far. It's about the Donner party with a supernatural twist. Happy I found it and get to be up early reading and snuggled in bed with pupchild. 🐶❤
And yes, I love books and my dog excessively. 😂
Had a great weekend adventure. Went to see baby alpacas and got the softest wool hat. They are the cutest fluffy babies. Reminds me of rabbits with long neck and legs.

Is a cute audiobook about a teenage girl in Austraila who decides to wear the hijab. Usually avoid a teenage drama stories but I was curious about this one because my boyfriend is from Saudi Arabia so his sisters wear the hijab. People's reactions can be so negative. Don't think I'd be brave enough to wear a hijab. This was cute and interesting but the ending left me just meh. 🌟🌟🌟

Overall, I quit enjoyed The Poppy War. Had me reminisant at times because some fantasy parts reminded me of all my nights spent watching Inuyasha and Bleach but was more brutal at times with events reminding me of the real atrocities that happened in Nangking. So now I feel the need to finish reading The Rape of Nangking.
