Started this last night, on page 38, and already I can tell it‘s going to be brutal. 😢

I'm reading this book because I #homeschool my two kids, and have doing a great deal of thinking about child-interest led learning, also known as #unschooling. This passage is literally on the second page of the prologue, and resonates so strongly with me. What if all children were able to learn what and how they felt best for their needs and interests? What world it would be!
Pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin chocolate chip cookie, awesome book, and autumn sunshine. 😊📖🍁🍂
Got this yesterday, and both my daughter and I couldn't put it down! She's done with it, and I'm about 2/3 of the way through. So good! #notjustforkids
Reading this to my youngest. Happy birthday, Roald Dahl! 😊🎉🎂📖
A friend recommended this to me, and I can't decide whether to get the audio or book seeing as how it's a funny read. Any help with my decision, Litsy people? 😊🙏🏻
Picked this up at the library yesterday. I went in to drop off books that were due, and walked out with 22 books. 😮 To my defense, some of them were for my kids! I'm hoping this book will keep my interest because I've been having some commitment issues lately, and have abandoned the last 3 books I've begun. 😕
My first foray into audiobooks. Requested this one from the library today. Anyone have audiobook suggestions? I'd like to increase the amount of books I read, but don't know how I feel about listening, you know? Recommended favorites of you lovely readers are appreciated. 😊
Getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow. No, I'm not 17, I'm turning 34 next month. I'm thinking I'll either sleep all day afterwards or be reading this. Either way, win-win.

Picked this up today at the library for the kids to use when we homeschool this year, and I think I might end up loving it even more than they will.
Cleaned up for my kiddos at the library book sale today! First in line two years running! Early birds do indeed get the worm! May have to go back later while the kids are at Minecraft club and see what additional stock they put out. 'Cause, you know, I couldn't possibly have enough books. 😁
Super cute and cheeky. Kinda predictable and somewhat chick-lit formulaic, but delightful nonetheless. If you're looking for something easy but still clever, funny, and warm and fuzzy, pick up this little gem.
Because sometimes you just need some delicious empty calorie reading. Not ashamed that I love her books.
I know I'm late to the game on appreciating Annie Proulx, but better late than never, right? I started reading this big'n today, and I'm already hooked!
Anyone have suggestions for which of her novels I can pick up next?
Simonson doesn't disappoint with her 2nd novel. This book has a little of everything for everyone: war, tragedy, love stories, hope, fear. It's also a story for lovers of writing. Strong women, social roles, and some winks at homosexuality all add richness to this must-read historical novel.
I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Loved the premise, the idea of healing through nature. Didn't love the author. I sympathize with her, and understand some of her issues. But I couldn't get past her whining and ungrateful, spoiled, sheltered girl attitude. I recommend reading Wild instead.
Why not borrow two more books from the library when I just began one today?
I was going to save this one for next week when I'm camping, but I couldn't wait! 😀🌲
I've read three of Backman's books, so I can say that for those who have read and enjoyed his storytelling will also find this book enjoyable. There are some redundant moments from "My Grandmother", but over all a wonderful look at how we choose to live our lives.
