I don't know why but I didn't expect this book to be so graphic. it's based loosely on the Bones tv show and the author is a anthropologist. I should be surprised by the i am.... looks like a great whodunit!

this book i beautiful. it describes one of the biggest maritaime tragedies in ww2. i had never heard of it before.
it follows 4 teens and their struggles to safety. the characters are so well developed. i have to admit i have never disliked a character as much as frick. thats because he was so well written.
cant wait to read more from this author.

love charley and reyes... beginning was a bit slow but it picked up.. still not my favorite in the series...

i love holly black. i love how she doesn't shy away from tougher topics that may not appeal to the masses, like bad parents amd lqbtq issues.

it was just okay.. the illustrations are beautiful though

great read with my son. he also has cystic fibrosis. it is great to see a well known author bring awareness to this horrible disease.

children can have a cruel absolute sense of justice.
