Moving story of how three siblings overcome tragedy and navigate through difficult times. Really enjoyed this one!

I wouldn‘t necessarily class this as a thriller but that suited me better. I‘m not a huge fan of thrillers. This was well written and genuinely had me hooked from the first page, I couldn‘t put it down 💀 #pick #theskeletonkey
A difficult topic that was incredibly relatable and easy to read. I loved the depth of characters in this book and how detailed a writer Elif is #pick #elifshafak
As a woman working in healthcare this hit hard. Not usually a reader of non-fiction but this is so well researched and written. I couldn‘t put it down. #pick #unwellwomen #healthcare
Really enjoyed the writing on this one. I became so invested in Agnes‘ story and felt everything with her. Sad it had to come to an end #pick #burialrites
This was a complete rollercoaster of emotions. Educational and moving, it‘s so beautifully written. I can see why it won #womensprize #pick #brotherlessnight
Told from an interesting perspective, this book beautifully describes the very real and damaging effects of conflict experienced by nature and humans. Really enjoyed reading and learning more about Cyprus 🇨🇾 #pick
Nothing beats a spa day and a good book. Loved this one by Celeste Ng #pick #EverythingINeverToldYou #spa
Thought provoking. I loved the story telling and seeing how the lives of the three protagonists intertwined despite being set decades apart. Definite pick
Heartbreaking, moving and incredibly written. This book is so worth a read 🌞 #pick #halfofayellowsun
Raw and honest account of what happens when the doctor becomes the patient. Inspirational read, even if the end left me sobbing on a plane #pick
I found the different perspectives from the three main characters really interesting. So many difficult hard hitting topics were dealt with in this book but I think she did so perfectly. Couldn‘t put it down 🙌🏻

This book was so powerful. A raw, beautiful story of hardship, struggle and overall a mothers love. #pick
My boyfriend picked this for me in a book shop a few weeks ago, purely because he says I cackle like a witch when I laugh. As it turns out it‘s actually an incredible read! A raw, brutally honest and at times darkly humorous account of the witch trials. Really enjoyed reading this one.. might have to get him to pick books for me again #pick #witchtrials
Really enjoying reading Stacey Halls books at the moment. Her storytelling is so immersive and I love that her books always centre around stong female protagonists! #pick
This was a perfect little holiday read. I really loved the concept around time and how even the smallest action can have big impacts on those around you. Wasn‘t overly keen on the ending but overall worth a read #pick
Definitely not just buying books because they look pretty... thankfully the story‘s are just as charming as their covers 🥰 #picks
This is a book for book lovers! What a beautiful story, felt a little confusing at times (there‘s a lot going on). But the bottom line is that this is a tale about people who love books and a reminder about the power they hold. #pick #thelostbookshop
Incredible! This one sucked me in from the very beginning, Ng has this way of writing that makes you think and question everything know or thought you knew. I couldn‘t put it down #pick #ourmissinghearts #CelesteNg
Really enjoyed the storytelling on this one. Based around the true events of Nazi occupied Venice, it perfectly encapsulates the city and the stories of Venetians fighting for freedom. #pick #venice #thesecretmessenger
With the incredible back drop of Alaska this is a beautiful story about love and loss, but mostly importantly what it takes to survive. #pick #thegreatalone #love #summerread
I enjoyed the writing and the depth of so many different characters. But in my opinion this book was far too long (and normally I love a book that‘s 500+ pages!) I just found this one dragged, too many unnecessary chapters it felt like I was reading it forever but couldn‘t really identify a solid plot. Not my favourite 🤷🏻♀️
I‘m not sure enjoy is the right word for this one. Heavy, Intense and thought provoking, I finished it in two days!
Wasn‘t quite ready for how dark things got towards the end and it left me feeling a bit frustrated. Having said that, Malorie Blackman is a legend and I can‘t believe it‘s taken me this long to read.

I was unsure of this one for most of the book. Couldn‘t quite get to grips with her writing style. I‘m all for comedy in books but some points it felt out of place and unnecessary. That ending however caught me off guard so have to give credit for that..
A difficult read this one. For various reasons, some points I loved it but some points I didn‘t. Overall it‘s definitely worth a read

What‘s not to love 🇮🇹 Firenze! Amore Mio! #stilllife #pick #florence
I‘m not normally one to bail on a book. But I just couldn‘t carry on with this one. I read It Ends with us and wasn‘t overwhelmed but enjoyed the story telling at least. This however just felt totally unnecessary, predictable and quite cringy. I know some people are obsessed by Colleen Hoover but I just don‘t get it 🤷🏻♀️
When I read the blurb for this I knew it would be right up my street. It did not disappoint! I was hooked from the beginning, a beautifully written story of some incredible women. What more could you want?

I was so excited to read this after how much I loved the miniaturist. I was not disappointed. A subtle, elegant and endearing read #pick
I enjoyed this one. The switching of narratives and time periods kept me interested, even if I did guess the ending.
It was a lovely and endearing little book, perfectly paired with a glass of wine..
