I think this one is going to stay with me for a while. Loved the writing and the story, made it so easy to picture everything and get sucked into that world.
Spoiler:
I would have been happy without any of the parts that took place after it all came crashing down. I‘m still not over poor Chick and the twins. It shows how twisted families can be albeit taken to extremes and the damage that can be caused even with love and the best intentions

Got my blanket, latte and it‘s a rainy Saturday. Perfect time to start my new book.
After an almost 18 month reading slump, finally feel back to my old self. Fingers crossed it lasts 🤞🏻

The first book I remember reading and the book that started my love of myths and legends. Even though I ended up preferring the Greek and Norse myths, I still love Anansi and trickster gods because of this book #firstbook #mythology #mythsandlegends
Looking forward to starting this one #book #tbr #mythos #myths #greekmyths
I wanted to like this, I really did. But the style and story did nothing for me and I had to give up a quarter of the way through:
Finished it in one sitting and really enjoyed it. Hopefully this is the end of my 18 month reading slump
#currentlyreading The Power, not that far into it yet but liking it so far. #riotgrams day 2
“Striving for uniqueness in a world of sameness.” Love this book and this quote. It‘s an idea I have tried to encourage in my daughter and something I try and live by myself.
“Don‘t think of it as dying”, said Death. “Just think of it as leaving early to avoid the rush.”
