I am usually reluctant to recommend books because I always think everyone else is far more intellectually than me and will think my choices a bit crass, but these are #3Books #ThatIveRecommendedToOthers that have all been enjoyed by those others 😊

When I‘m asked which book of an author would I recommend, I‘d go with these instead of the more well-known titles of the author..although those are also very good reads!
My Cousin Rachel instead of Rebecca
A Ladder To The Sky instead of The Heart‘s Invisible Furies
A Little Stranger instead of Fingersmith

These are pretty much my go to recommendations, The Night Circus for the imagery, A Sand County Almanac is a classic that gets folks thinking about the outdoors. And The Stones Cry Out to explain my obsession with rocks 😜 and it's pretty gut wrenching too.

I‘m a bookseller so all I do all day, is recommend books to others! But these are some of my never fail picks to frequently asked for recommendations .....
- for reluctant boy readers that like sports, but hate reading, any of Kwame Alexander‘s books are good to try...
- for the historical fiction lover, I love to recommend The Gentleman.
- for the romance reader who wants to try a new author, tagged

I'm a teacher and these books have been really eye-opening and changed the way I think about and manage classroom interactions. I keep recommending them and I keep coming back to them myself.
