I finished The Naturalist tonight, and it definitely made for a #suspensefulsunday . I overall enjoyed this book, though it was initially a bit of a slow burn. I liked Dr. Theo Cray for his quirks, and the sciency stuff was fun to read. I went ahead and bought the next book so I'll be able to continue the story. I'd give this one 4/5 stars.

I finished this today—works nicely for #readingresolutions #SuspensefulSunday! I really enjoyed Miss Marple in this one—using her “frail old lady” exterior to its best advantage as she got to the bottom of the mystery! I did find the ending a little too sudden/rushed, but overall, it was a solid Miss Marple mystery that kept me guessing.

Day 6 #SuspensefulSunday Love John Connolly's Charlie Parker series. Parker is deeply wounded and cursed, yet blessed; his frequent helpers Angel and Louis are unique yet fully believable. Highly recommended (& if you're new to the series, read in order, starting with Every Dead Thing). #ReadingResolutions @Jess7 #JohnConnolly #CharlieParker

Probably my fave suspense novel ever. What a beautiful edition too!

I hate the gym but I am less hateful because I spent my misery there existing in McNamara‘s world. I couldn‘t resist using this month‘s #audible for this, despite already having it on #kindle. I‘m now undoing my efforts at the gym with a Bloody Mary while listening and I‘m okay with that. #suspensefulsunday #idgaf

#ReadingResolutions #SuspensefulSunday I started the e-book of this suspenseful thriller AGES ago & never finished-so when it was an Audible deal a while back I got it & finally started it today while #audiocooking & #audiosouping. It's a good match for Suspenseful Sunday. While my soup is bubbling away, I used leftovers to make salmon-fried rice. Salmon & brown rice are always good for dinner-but even better in breakfast fried rice.😋Happy Sunday

If you want a #suspensefulSunday I would recommend reading this little book of stories by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Especially the title story made my head spin and had me feeling the suspense for a while after reading it!
