Anyone read this series? Any good? @EadieB
I finally finished this over the weekend. I didn't love the audiobook narrator-her men's voices in particular got on my nerves & I was not as much of a fan of the MC, Jessie Cole as I am of the MCs in the author's other 2 series, but the intersecting storylines were intriguing. I downloaded book 2 on my Kindle & have a feeling I'll like reading them better than listening. I'm interested in how the characters develop-especially crime reporter Ben.
My #audiosouping pick today. This thriller that I started about seven months ago & keep putting down to listen to other books. Trying to finish it & a few other started books before the end of the year. The weekend has not been very weekend-like. I had to teach a class Saturday so today is laundry, soup, blogging & getting ready for the coming week. Creamy Mushroom Soup from Ruth Reichl seems like good comfort food. 😋🍄🍲
There are a few different storylines, but they gel together so well it flows nicely and the overall tale is nail bitingly tense and I enjoyed this book immensely and look forward to the next in the series. Read my full review at http://lelsreading.blogspot.com/2018/08/review-her-last-day.html
#ReadingResolutions #SuspensefulSunday I started the e-book of this suspenseful thriller AGES ago & never finished-so when it was an Audible deal a while back I got it & finally started it today while #audiocooking & #audiosouping. It's a good match for Suspenseful Sunday. While my soup is bubbling away, I used leftovers to make salmon-fried rice. Salmon & brown rice are always good for dinner-but even better in breakfast fried rice.😋Happy Sunday
Has anyone read books by T R Ragan? Just started this; seems good so far!
Starting Aloha Friday 🌺off right at the coffeeshop with a sun-dried tomato bagel with lox, coffee, & a few chapters of another book I want to finish up in 2017. It's a cool and rainy morning here but hoping it gets sunny for all the visitors-I feel bad when people are here to enjoy the sun & it's been such a rainy holiday week for the most part. ☔️🌴Today is more about email, blog & review catch up than work-work. Hope your day is going well. 😀
#DecDays #vacation Trying to finish some of my started e-books that I keep overlooking as I nosh on Wednesday's regular coffeeshop breakfast. Notice I nibbled the avocado toast 🥑🍞☕️before taking a picture.😋I just can't help it. Settling in to power through a project this morning & that will end most of my major client work before the holidays. I wouldn't call it vacation really, I'm still on call for issues, but close enough. Happy Wednesday.🐪
Happy Black Friday Littens! If you‘re shopping for books or anything else online, don‘t forget to make money by using ebates. I just realized they have a ton of bookstores on there, so I wanted to make sure and share with y‘all.
If you don‘t know what ebates is, it is a site that pays you cash back on your purchases. You get a check every 3 months. I‘ve used it for years and it is awesome! More $ for more 📚!

It's Wednesday but it feels a bit like Friday. 🎉Starting the morning with my usual Wednesday coffeeshop 🥑🍞breakfast with a press of local coffee & a little of this new book from a favorite mystery/thriller author. Hoping to get my work done, finish a blog post & get home & away from pre-holiday crowds.😬 #humpday 🐪
