And how could I not feature my favourite ever Viking Vampire,Eric Northman & his super disdainful,sarcastic sidekick, Pam,his twinset & pearls wearing progeny. Some of my favourite “vampire genre” scenes are the banter between Eric, Pam & Sookie. Highly recommend if you like hot men, Louisiana, lots of snark & the supernatural.

The ladies of Edinburgh are able to #sleepingmydayaway or pop bon bons at will until the war hits. Unfortunately they are then unable to get household help, and must then administer to all the household needs themselves. It sounds like it has quite a bit of humor—hopefully I‘m able to get to it soon!

I totally bought this book because of the cover and it‘s size but I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a heartwarming memoir. Elisabeth is bed ridden for months and the snail accidentally ends up in her bedroom. She forms a bond with the little creature and it keeps her company while teaching her life lessons.
