Avery different experience than the Perry Mason novels, though Gardner‘s trademark dialogue and crime schemes are both evident.

📚💫This had good vibes woven into the text, or there has been a spell of optimism cast upon this book, or something because this was absolutely positively delightful 📚💝.
Every time I came to read more of this wacky book, I was smiling extra and my mood was extra uplifted. I loved how the psychic ways were written, and loved every character, and loved the wackiness 💝💝💝.

1- The main Character, Riley Thorn is a proofreader...she is also a psychic and stumbles into becoming an investigator.
2- Artist, writer, and crafter.
Ok shocking… not really a huge fan either of some of this authors books … because of all the hype surrounding them… but I really enjoyed reading this book because it made me laugh throughout. I enjoyed the characters and the plot it was great. I may read the next book just because I enjoyed this first book in the series 🤗📚
I am loving this read 📚💝!
Lucky to find the first three books in this series. Since I haven't made the time to get myself to an actual bookstore (in years), I usually have to settle with only reading book “one“, or staying away from any “series“ altogether.
Took my chances because this was about a psychic. 👇
I love Lucy Score so I'm glad I got the ARC from Bloom Books.
I started snort laughing when Riley‘s octogenarian roommates all started taking turns using the stair lift to get to the third floor where the crime scene was…just in time to challenge “the po po” as the police showed up. When the cops asked them to wait elsewhere, Mrs. Penny said: “Why don‘t you make me, 5.0?” By then I was laughing out loud. 🤣 I‘m new to Lucy Score but after 3 books I know she‘s good for a laugh. 😆 Many laughs. 😂🤭
PI Kelly is hired 3years after Governor Perry disappeared on the day he was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Kelly is supposedly supposed to find Perry, but immediately Kelly‘s inquiries put him into danger.
I‘m giving this 4⭐️. It‘s a good story held back by the lackadaisical narration style. I‘m not sure how to review the story.
