It‘s been an interesting week. I took the extended mid-west airport tour trying to get to snowy Philly for #PLA2018. Once I arrived it was go, go, go. My immune system cried foul and I caught a cold which left me zapped of energy. Now I‘m home and so thankful I took a PTO recovery day!

Probably one of my favorite pieces of swag from #pla2018 😍😍. She did this for everyone, so the line took a while, but it was worth it. The artwork is fabulous in these books!

My favorite #galleybrag from #PLA2018. Claire had an variety of different color micron pens and asked everyone in line which color they wanted her to sign with. I chose red. “For blood,” she said. “For murder.” I am SO excited to read this!

Day two #PLA2018 #bookhaul . I highlighted a few in prior posts...anything that sounds good to you?

Had the privilege to hear two authors speak tonight. The first is this author, whose tagged book comes out in May and who also writes under Jude Watson. I jotted down a quote from her talk: “Isn‘t that what community is...hanging out with people that annoy you?”

This book takes place on the northern tip of Long Island. Ruthie rents out her house every summer, in order to pay the bills. This summer‘s tenant could change everything. #PLA2018

Happened to walk by the booth this afternoon, when a copy of this was thrust at me, with a “She‘s signing right now” and a finger point in the right direction. Amazing! And, she‘s very nice too! Walked by the right place at the right time! #PLA2018

Ran into my girl Tee Franklin today at #PLA2018. She did an event at my library for the teens a few weeks ago. Now I finally have my very own copy of “Bingo Love”!

If I see something about wine, I grab it! A June release date for this one - a woman goes back to her family‘s vineyard in Burgundy and discovers secrets about her family, stemming from World War II. Billed as Sweetbitter meets The Nightingale. #PLA2018
