Now for something completely different! Urban fantasy!
Last week I saw the #BDWAB display at the library. I told one of the librarians that I‘d read two out of three mysteries books I‘d checked out last summer, and she suggested I try a genre I don‘t normally read.
I have absolutely nothing against urban fantasy. It‘s just not a typical genre for me. This was a fun story though, and just like that I have another #series on my list.
I‘m not watching SB LIX. Instead I‘m reading this BDWAB selection with no TV and no music. Just a nice scented candle and some mango pineapple lemonade. #hyggehourreadathon
pickI liked this novella giving us more about Roman - an integral character in the Kate Daniels universe. I wish it was longer though, the first half was great, but then it rushed through the ending. I do look forward to more of this new spin-off. 4⭐️

It's October 2nd, and all I can think about is the heat. I can't even adult right now. Where oh where is autumn? We have what's called a heat dome hanging over us, and nothing is making it move out of here. And I'm sorry to be a downer, but it literally has a choke-hold on me right now. #burningupinphoenix 🔥🔥🔥
