Kimberlone Absolutely love this book. The audiobook narrated by Jim Dale is also perfect. I had really high expectations for Morgenstern‘s second book The Starless Sea, but didn‘t end up liking it very much, though that seems to be an unpopular opinion. 4y

The Night Circus | Erin Morgenstern

so-so

I could smell the popcorn and hear the crackle of the bonfire amongst the circus-goers, Morgensterns writing is incredibly wonderful and takes you right into the thick of her stories.

I enjoyed the storyline but felt like it didn‘t pack as much punch as it could have, it felt like it took a bit of a backseat compared to the amazing descriptions of the circus 🎪 still a good read though!

This book was such a ride. It starts off really cryptic and you really can't connect the chapters and what happens in them. You want the book to go faster but then towards the end you just want it to last forever. I love the air of mystery about this book. A beautiful blend of fantasy and romance with great character development. I definitely recommend it!
