This was absolutely lovely! It's exactly what I want in a Christmas novella that isn't romance focused. Warm and cozy, I honestly wish I could have wrapped myself in the quilt the characters come together to make.
I had a bit of a delay in getting the book, so my package was just sent out today.

There are some plot holes, and well, some things that just don‘t make any sense here….eight years in prison for a first time offense of embezzlement? A woman spends all that time in prison yet doesn‘t seem hardened and shows no ill effects from it?

pickI'll admit this book went how I expected it would, but it was fun and entertaining for an afternoon. I really liked some of the characters, but there were some annoying ones mixed in. Overall, it was basically a Hallmark movie, something light and fluffy to get lost in.
I‘m not sure what pushed me to read this book this week. Saturday I was sitting upstairs getting ready for a baby shower when I saw it sitting on my shelf and just had the urge to read it.
I must say, for going into this book blind (I got it from my sister) it‘s going pretty well and I‘m enjoying it more than I thought I would considering the plot.
