Here was my 2nd book in #MayMadness @Andrew65 + really enjoyable. A bk about how cicero emerges as the great political figure in the Roman Republic. It rds like a thriller + is v readable + extremely interesting, a lot of intrigue bringing the senate to life.
I'll rd later + raise a toast to a lovely lady jenny @ReadingEnvy after the horrible news this wk. I listened to her for yrs + was lucky to talk to her virtually on the show in 2020. V v sad

It seems a bit unreal as I didn't know jenny but she was such a lovely personality on her podcast so I felt as if I did. There is a thread on good reads. I worked on stage crew in middle and high school, and absolutely love this GN about a group of teens working on their school musical. Great representation.

I was constantly frustrated at the parent‘s at my daughter‘s school that complained about this book being in the school library (the school did not remove it). I have a theater kid, so she finds this story really relatable!
