⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow! All I can say is do yourself a favor and read this book! This was a fast pace heist story with found family and wonderful diverse characters. Loved Rosalyn‘s journey and can‘t wait for the next book.

When monk Brother Nicephorus has a dream about St. Nicholas, his superiors take it as a sign to bring the saint‘s remains back to Bari, Italy. Relic-hunter Tyun is hired to lead the expedition and the party races against hunters from another church to reach the blessed bones first.
Heist and hijinks, religion and slight sacrilege, I really enjoyed this kinda true, kinda queer tale.
What a fun ride! I love the tricks played by all the sides. In a weird way, it‘s a story about friendship despite the elaborate heists and rules that should pit people against each other. I was on the edge of my seat the whole book.
#auldlangspine book 6. @MeganAnn Have you read the second book yet?
@monalyisha
I like this author but this wasn‘t my favorite book of hers. It‘s a world of magic and they use their magic to steal stuff and complete heists. When Danielle was a teenager, she turned her mother into the FBI and ran away. She‘s been doing odd jobs helping people and earning money. Now she‘s called back to her home to do 1 last heist. She has to get her crew together to pull it off.
#Romantasy has become more popular recently and idk how to feel about that. This was my first foray into the genre and not bad. We have some #sapphics on a heist as they try to make ends meet. To the point that they make a deal with a green faerie. It's good if you want a quick read but don't expect too much depth in terms of the fantasy. I'd rate it somewhere in the 3-3.5 range #queer
I MAY have gone a little wild buying ebooks lately.
Damn those daily deals and Cyber Monday specials.
The problem is (well, one of the problems) is that I tent to forget what I have on my kindle. Which is why I have multiple copies of books. 😔 😠 Not good for the budget. 😞
Have you read any of these? What‘s a good one to start with?
I loved The Answer Is No.
Monk Nichephoerous‘ dream of Saint Nicholas leads him on a heist to steal the Saint‘s bones. With irreverent and sometimes nihilistic language it still sometimes a little too opaque for me and the style often leaves me feeling detached from the characters.

Found this in my local charity shop! I've been looking for this for ages and it's got red sprayed edges which look so cool
I'm so happy! Always check out charity shops 🤣
It was a lighthearted read about the crazy house-heisting capers by a group of indomitable women. Very Downton Abby esc. This is what happens when you upset Mrs King. After years of loyal service, she is let go and she decides to get even. They just didn't see it coming. It is a sweet easy read but it will not set the world on fire or make me dash to read other offerings by Alex Hay.
Witty and intelligent, Nicked weaves a magical story out of historical facts.
