Then again, I have all these #LGBTQ #GraphicNovels and #GraphicMemoirs . #LMPBC #Round13

bibliobard Maybe narrow down a bit more then pose possibilities to group? I am so jealous of all these LGBTQ books you own! 3y
WanderingBookaneer That‘s the plan @bibliobard . I grab everything interesting off my TBR shelves and then narrow it down to 4 - 6 choices. 3y
bibliobard @WanderingBookaneer I need to start digging for ideas — but I am glad you are so pumped 😁 3y

WanderingBookaneer @bibliobard : I want LGBTQ creators to keep creating and I buy as many LGBTQ books as I can. 🤪🏳️‍🌈 3y
bibliobard @WanderingBookaneer LOVE IT! That‘s why I keep making one of the #LMPBC categories LGBTQ focused. I get to see so many titles that I didn‘t know about previously 3y
WanderingBookaneer @bibliobard : Let me know if any title from either post piques your interest. 3y
IndoorDame Boy in the red dress and stone fruit are both on my TBR, but these are great choices, so I‘m up for whatever you and the group settle on. 3y

I read six graphic novels yesterday including this one. I always love her comics.

I ❤️ Lucy Knisley. Her #graphicmemoirs are so realistic. Every mom can commiserate as Go to Sleep (I Miss You) accurately portrays the sleepless foggy days, adventures in breastfeeding, being enamored with your baby, and all the other little experiences of motherhood. I recommended this to my daughter whose baby recently turned 1. Would be a nice gift for any new mom.

Anna40 Loved her book about her pregnancy. Is this a new book? 5y

This book came in last week, but it was still in a box until I asked about it. I'm glad I asked though because this book was fantastic. We first hear Robin's perspective then learn more about why her (single!) mom uprooted her daughter from Korea to ALABAMA. Meaty memoir, even though it's YA.

This book doesn't pull any punches. Normally, I try to stay away from #memoirs with co-authors and am hesitant to try #graphicmemoirs where the author isn't the illustrator, but this didn't suffer from the dilution. Engrossing read.

This book is laugh-out-funny, heartbreaking, poignant, incisive, and silly in equal measures.

One of the best graphics memoirs I have ever read, and I highly recommend it.

AutumnRLS I loved this. Borrowed from a friend, but had to pick up a copy to own after I read it. ❤ 5y
Niso @AutumnRLS same here!! After falling in love with the library book, I have ordered my own copy. 5y

Due to my sudden interest in #graphicnovels and #graphicmemoirs I‘ve already completed my 90 book challenge for the year and reset my goal to 165. It‘s a great reading year so far!

I am having an amazing reading month and a great start to my reading year all because Litsy turned me on to #graphicnovels & #graphicmemoirs. A genre I would have never really pictured myself reading. I even picked up a few more tonight. So thanks to all of you I am going to have to expand my annual #readinggoal. Just trying to think of a good number.
