dabbe It seems Brinton has cast the Knightleys in a negative light. Georgianna was appalled to have to sit next to George. And Emma was quite rude to Georgianna as well. You'd think she would have learned from her own novel and that she would have brightened up George somewhat. I'm not keen on Kitty either, nor was I in P&P. But I love Georgianna! 1y

ravenlee I have always disliked Emma (my second-least favorite JA heroine after Fanny, and it seems like Brinton is on the same page), and here she seems to be right back to the beginning of her book. 1y
