My low expectations going in (based on another book by the same author) were not warranted. I was advised to give this book a try and I'm glad I did. This fake dating story in which a dare turns into a genuine connection is adorable and heartfelt while also touching on some tough family topics. I enjoyed this quite a bit. This was a decent romance read. I loved the story line and the characters. Not enough steam for me though! 😅😉 Definitely would suggest for any lovers of long distance relationships and fake dating turned real!

This was a fun fake-dating book with delightful characters, questionable motives, and satisfying outcomes. It's a tough read because one of the girls has extremely toxic friends, there's some parental abandonment, biphobia, and because particular characters are horrifically racist, but otherwise it's a pretty chill read. #LGBTQ #Friendship #FakeDating

I accidentally clicked this book when I went to click a different audiobook, but honestly, it was the best accident this week. It‘s such a cute story! It‘s one of those fake dating stories and I‘m a sucker for those!

My only complaint isn‘t even really a complaint with the book. Sometimes, I didn‘t realize that Becca was speaking to the other characters, I just thought it was her inner monologue.
