Hmm, this one is touching upon some tough subjects, but I‘m liking it. It talks about infertility, which is surprising to me since it seems like a taboo subject. I‘m glad more people are talking about it. Thanks to those who venture out and talk about. It was a different kind of graphic novel. Can it be called a graphic novel if it‘s a short story collection?🤷🏽♀️It felt a bit disjointed, but maybe that‘s because I‘ve never read a short story collection in this format. I liked the stories, but like any short story, they left me questioning what happened next.😔I want to know more! A good quick read that‘s deeper than the words let on.

pickI had a hard time starting this one but once I did, it went fast. It‘s an easy, quick read, really well developed characters. The plot between the two families is a little meh but the discussion around motherhood and adoption was really interesting, especially in the context of race.
