Play format so I flew through this within a day. Was nice to read about familiar and beloved characters from my childhood. Only major complaint was that Ron after developing so much became one dimensional in this. He deserves better.

Saw Part I and II yesterday and it was AMAZING 🤩 The special effects were stunning and I don't even want to know how it was all done. If you get a chance to see this, do it! I actually can't put into words just how good it was...the moving stair cases, the magic, the Dementors...the cast were outstanding 👏👏👏

janeycanuck I have tickets for it in Toronto this June and they‘ve made it into only one show. I‘m undecided if I‘m disappointed it‘s being pared down or if I‘m relieved it will be shorter. 3y

alisiakae @kaylamburson We waited outside the stage door, about 8 of the main cast members came out to sign playbills! @feastoffiction Not at all! I was familiar with all the actors already, since they were mostly the original London cast that I have been following since the West End release! But even so, they played the characters perfectly, and a few of the resemblances were uncanny! 7y

alisiakae @Ajessgirl Yay!! We have some free time on Saturday if you want to meet up! We‘re going to be at the Natural History Museum (for the gazillionth time, it‘s Maya‘s favorite) and Alice‘s Tea Cup on Saturday. 7y

This was more enjoyable than I expected given the mixed reviews. It read like fanfiction, and it lacked the magic of the original series. But I was happy to revisit old favorites. I'm excited to see the stage production!
