This week we suddenly lost my husband‘s father. It‘s a devastating blow to our family, but also because of the bonds and connections he created we have the support system in place to get us through. My friend‘s sister (a child psychiatrist) recommended these books for our boys. They are so lucky (as all of us are) to have had the 7 years they had with him. We will work to honor his memory and keep him alive in our hearts.

Librarybelle So sorry for your loss 2y

What the f—- is going on with Litsy? Seems that I can only post through the website and not through the app. Why can‘t the developers just put out a statement on one of their social media accounts and just say that the app isn‘t working properly?!?! #firstworldproblems

Bklover Me too! It‘s a good thing I checked so I don‘t post everything three times! 2y
TorieStorieS Thanks for sharing about the issues- wish I had seen this before repeating my post! 😵‍💫 2y

DogMomIrene Yesterday my posts took a few minutes to process, but I didn‘t see any of my comments showing up. Even looked like my ❤️s were going back and forth. I was looking to see if I missed an update. 2y

This is such a beautiful, heart wrenching book that explains sadness in such a visual and visceral way 💔

This story took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. This second book was intricately tied into the first book, it could be read as a standalone, but it's nice to have the full effect. Dixon sure knows how to bring out the raw emotions and really make you feel them deeply. Mateo and Lucy's story is a touching one!

May was an extremely busy time so the book topics were a little scattered. This was just fun.

This #PictureBook shows the importance of sensitivity when dealing with a powerful emotion. The narrator‘s friend Jenny is sad, and the narrative views how Jenny does and does not show her sadness. The illustrations are bright and go well with the narrative. Letter J #BBRC
